I was this years old when I found out that you could
eat the entire watermelon ! π«£
For years, I have been enjoying the juicy fulfilling and hydrating red flesh of a perfectly pick white watermelon
And throwing out, perhaps one of the most nutritious part of the entire fruit !
I had no idea what to do, except put it in the garbage disposal, or in the trash, as I am not at the level of composting (don't come for me)
But it was only this past month that I discovered that after washing the rind, you can actually grind it into a nice and delicious smoothie so that you eat the entire watermelon and decrease food waste !
Not to be clear it's not just watermelon rinds that I'm drinking. It's watermelon rinds and I love a good tropical fruit frozen mix with either water or orange juice and my @vitamix does the rest.
it taste great you would never know that I use watermelon rinds in the smoothie at all and it's packed with fiber. I'm very filling and refreshing on a warm summer day.
So give it a try let me know what you think. Drop a comment below.
don't forget to vote for me today @favchef so I can make it into the top 10 by next week.
And share this post with a friend who needs to be today years old to know that they can eat the entire watermelon except the seedsπ€ͺ
Another lesson I've learned from @favchef creating height in your dish and if you have a monotone dish add some color.
This is coconut lime bone broth from @imperfectfoods one of my fav recurring purchases.
I add to it sautΓ© chicken breast with salt and pepper with freshly squeezed lime juice and chopped cilantro for for color and brings out the lime flavor.
Finish with a dash of salt. And you have a filling dinner (lots of protein in bone broth)
Or I take this lunch at work as well.
I put my chicken in the center of my plate to create a mound and put the cilantro to the top of the mound.
Make sure you vote for me so I can share as I go through each round. This round ends on 6/29 at 7p PDT.

ππ½ Listen up! Here are the top FAQs about our No-Bake Turtle Cheesecake Virtual Baking Class. If you're curious about what awaits you, keep reading! π
Q: What if I can't make the class?π«£
A: No problem! When you sign up, you'll get access to a recording of the class. You can watch and bake at your own pace, ensuring you don't miss a single step. I send the link to all class participants the same day or the next day at the latest. It will be two views Overhead and front-facing, so you don't miss a thing!
Q: Do I have to cook along or can I just watch? π
A: Absolutely, while cooking along is better, you are more than welcome to watch as well and make it later. The beauty about being live is you can ask all of your questions. I don't choose super fancy ingredients, so you can grab what you need from your local grocery store-so you can cook with me, but I'm totally cool with you watching as well!
Q: What if I don't want a whole lot of cheesecake? π¬
A: Neither do I! I'm a one-bite person by nature and I give the rest away. I will show you how to make this cheesecake into small shareable bites (that's my specialty). This recipe will be a crowd-pleaser for sure!
Now that you have the tea on our No-Bake Turtle Cheesecake Virtual Baking Class, it's time to take action! ππ©βπ³ Secure your spot now by clicking the link in our bio and let's bake up (kind of) something amazing together! π°β¨
