Can you even believe that was Damian. His 🍆 owner felt that was acceptable.
Even worse, that's the only owner/family he has known.
We have known this baby for 3 years now.
He is gentle and polite. He loves love and is a dream on a leash.
We truly don't deserve dogs!

Follow your mom gut.
I knew something was wrong.
She wasn't super sick, any other Vet would have sent me home with some meds for a week, then follow up with X-rays the next week, then schedule an ultrasound the next week.
3 weeks could have gone by and by that time, we could have lost Roxy.
She ended up with splenic nodules, that, when left unattended, can rupture and cause your pet to bleed internally.
Most times, you won't know until it's just too late.
Roxy is recovering and not totally out of the woods, but man is she way better off because I followed my mom gut and the doctors I work with, listen with their hearts.
Never let someone make you feel like your being too much. Most times, we are not enough.
To the staff and veterinarians at my home away from home, thank you for all you do. Always and all ways.

This angel was with us in December, quickly adopted, and now being returned.
Not enough time for her, never housebroke her, moving, you know, the yoooooosh
Anywhore, she's a painfully polite tiny hippo and just really loves to be loved.
Cali will be back at he rescue in a month or so, you know, before the previous owner moves 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have some unfortunate news to share today.

We sadly still haven’t raised the $9,000 required to pay the engineer, which is holding up the progress of our rescue sanctuary and preventing us from submitting the permits to the town.

We also have to raise an additional $3584.70 for the filing of our site plan application.

Despite asking for help, we continue to drown in veterinarian bills. We were sadly not able to cover Luna and Oliver’s surgery last week, and we now have to worry about Don’s amputation surgery.

Thor, who is currently battling cancer, has an upcoming oncologist appointment in two days, and we fear we won’t be able to pay that, either.

Despite losing Poppy, we still haven’t been able to pay the veterinarian hospital, which is not the hospital we usually used.

These past weeks have been difficult.

When we say that rescue never sleeps, we mean it. We have to worry every single day about ensuring that we get enough funds to feed our dogs and cover their veterinarian bills.

We have rescued a lot of lives these past weeks, and sadly we will now have to put a hold on rescuing if we cannot pay our dues.

We are asking everyone to please consider donating towards our debt; we feel like we are drowning, and we don’t know what else to do to ensure we can pay our current bills. Thank you.

This afternoon.... right here..... It made their entire day.

It's the LEAST we could do.

Yes, it sucks bringing them back to a building and not a home.
Yes, it sucks hat their "family" left them at a shelter to never look back.

But this is reality.

And we can't pretend it's not happening.

So we break our hearts every damn day, in hopes, to put a piece of theirs, back together.

Koda and Bear
The begining of the video, is of two dogs, who have been in a rescue for over 2 years, getting a car ride, seeing people in a parking lot, and being overwhelmed with excitement.

This also happens when they are just being shown to adopters or being brought to a volunteer to walk.
Everything is the BEST thing.when they are being let out of the run that they have called home for way too long now.

You let them get those crazies out, and in 5 minutes, you get to see what genuinely loving and kind dogs they are.
Bear adores love and gazes at you for attention, Koda can not meet enough new people and her tail goes into superspeed when she sees children. ❤️

Let's make 2024 the year these two get to finally go home!

repost via from To say that this week was overwhelming is an understatement.

This week alone, we rescued Luna, who was surrendered to the shelter with severe pneumonia, arthritis, and tumors throughout her body.

Kazan, who was abandoned at the shelter with bone cancer.

A newborn cane corse cleft puppy, who needs around-the-clock care and had to go to the emergency vet last night, costing $1,498.

We just rescued Turbo and Penelope, who were about to be euthanized as well.

Thor had surgery to remove some tumors, for another $1,800.

Chloe, Giuseppe, Big Boy, and Biscuit were transported from Florida to New York, totaling $1,600.

We have also posted about the engineering plan for the new sanctuary, and so far have raised $2,500 of the $13,634 needed.

Olli is still fighting at the veterinarian hospital, which as we all know, will be expensive.

Not only have we been overwhelmed and stressed about everything going on, but we are receiving pleas for help daily, and we are simply exhausted and drowning.

Of course, we are still caring for our 76 dogs. We are low on food and also need funding to feed them.

We desperately need help to fund the plan for the new rescue sanctuary for town approval, while we also need to get funding for the land.

We are tired, but we simply cannot stop.

We need help now more than ever. We are a small group of people doing everything possible to rescue dogs, while caring for the ones we have.

We are struggling, we need help.

This dumpling was a complete joy as always. Her little hoppity prance made everyone giggle, the belly tax was demanded and paid, naps were taken, and fun was had.

Oriana 🐾
At one point in her life, she had floppy ears, and her babies near by.
I'll never understand what makes humans think they can mutilate animals, both mentally and physically.
Either way, in true dog fashion, Oriana hasn't looked back once. She LOVES everything and everyone!

Bulla Cake .....
"Bulla cake, usually referred to as bulla, is a rich Jamaican cake. Bulla are -- small loaves that are flat and round --
You're not wrong there. They are also a sweet cake.
This baby elephant stole every heart he crossed today. Everyone collapsed to their knees and let this little Bulla kiss their faces, give them Bulla hugs, and just let this puppy be a puppy.
He's been let down 4 times in his 10 months of life.
Ew.

Buddy
It's hard not to instantly fall in love with this guy.
Buddy will walk or run with you till his feet fall off, he will simultaneously carry a toy in his mouth, the entire time. Buddy will go on any adventure with you, but he is totally down to binge whatever your current Netflix addiction is as well.
Buddy has been waiting for a home of his own for a few years now.
He's around 5 years old, has a smile that will melt your heart, prefers not to share his space with cats, hey, we don't judge here, and would just be the very best friend that you ever ever could have dreamt up!

He followed that act up, with RA**NG A CHILD.

Brown, the man that set Riona on fire, was back in court yesterday and now has been charges with r**e of a child

A plea agreement was reached yesterday in regard to the felony charges concerning Riona and we will updater as soon as confirmed.
For those not familiar with Riona, Quishon set her on fire and over 60% of her body received 4th degree burns. She was taken into our care and after $93,000.00 was spent and months of surgery, including skin grafts, she was adopted to a wonderful family.
The fight for has been active for almost 2 years.
Riona received worldwide attention after videos of her recovery in Memphis were posted on TikTok. She had the world following her journey of recovery and witness her strength while doing so.

Now the same person that did this is facing child r**e charges.

We had the pleasure of spending.our afternoon with Jill today.
Jill was found injured, and unable to walk at the time.
Presumed to have been hit by a car.
Jill has somewhat recovered, and is walking now.
She trusted us to lift her into a truck and shopping cart, go for a walk, then into a store to meet some new people, snack on some nuggets and pup cups, and finally take a well deserved nap.
She came to us without reservation and had zero questions.
To say we fell in love instantly is an understatement.

💙 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 • We are happy to share that Kyle, now known as Ralphie, was officially adopted and is now thriving in his forever home!

As you can see, Ralphie is now loved & spoiled, just like he deserves.

We rescued Kyle nka Ralphie a few months ago after he was abandoned at the shelter by his owner and became completely dejected and heartbroken.

Ralphie didn’t deserve to be left behind, and we owed it to him to find him the best home.

Ralphie is such a handsome and good boy, we are so delighted for him.

Neo was abandoned by his people last year.
Left tied to the NYBC building.
He was so scared for so long.
Now, this 💔

Our hearts are shattering as we have to announce the heartbreaking and unexpected passing of Neo.

A few days ago, Neo refused to eat, and still threw up, which was very alarming.

We immediately brought him to the veterinarian where he had some testing done.

The veterinarian then prescribed him Cerenia for his vomiting, and asked us to bring him back if Neo continues to vomit.

Neo stopped throwing up for a day, but the next day, he began vomiting again and even had bloody diarrhea.

We rushed Neo to the the veterinarian, where X-rays were done. Neo was then diagnosed with a blockage and underwent emergency surgery.

Heartbreakingly, our sweet boy never woke up from the surgery, despite having CPR performed for 15 minutes.

This has been an unexpected and hard loss for everyone at New York Bully Crew.

As heartbroken as we are, we not only have to mourn the loss of our sweet Neo, but we still have to pay for his surgery.

Not only have we lost our beloved Neo, but we are now $2,255.14 in debt.

Neo never had a loving home, and was ultimately abandoned tied up to our building while the people drove off, leaving him behind. Our organization was the only loving and safe home he had ever known.

Please consider donating towards his surgery in Neo’s honor.

Our sweet Neo, we will miss you terribly. May you peacefully rest. 🤍

Ava
What a perfect little pout !
Ava was abandoned at a school parking lot in FL over a year ago now.
She's become such a chill little lady.
Ava has perfected the surprise attack hug, has her bachelor's in back floppies, and has a nose that can sniff out any treat, anytime, anywhere.
P.s. Jaxon is just fine. They just decided they rather not be roommates anymore. Which is understandable 🫶🏻
