Our first successful Kickstarter, Zilaram, is available on DriveThruRPG for only $10!

Built by gnomish hands, Zilaram’s structures remain close to the ground and the city boasts a distinctly low skyline. This is, in part, to make the city harder to see from out in the wilds and partly so as not to ruin the view for any resident. The city is built on the only sizable area of sturdy, dry land that rises slightly above the surrounding mangrove swamps. A low wall follows the outer edge of this hill but the main defense of the city is the dense overgrowth of the mangrove roots.

A common potion used to regenerate hit points over a period of time, the Potion of Regeneration is made from various ingredients, one of which is a drop of troll blood. Although common, it is probably best not to reveal this item when around any trolls.

The elves of Oscana are governed by the virtue of restraint. Leshiro taught them the practices of self-control, abstention, and discretion, and although they embody these traits, the elves are fun-loving creatures at their core. They are slow to anger, and choose what they say very carefully. Their discretion makes them excellent at keeping secrets.

The elves of Oscana are split between the forest elves and the field elves. Both have incredibly long lifespans, and these long lives give elves a perspective on the world shared only by trolls. They are commonly unconcerned with the short-term problems of the other species, and at times find it hard to dedicate their time to solve these issues. However, the guidance and influence of the Ulisserai pushes them to try.

Named for the throwing axe they are famed for using, the Francisca Rangers are deadly hunters and trackers in Oscana. Used to working in the wilderness and surviving for long periods on their own, they always have an animal companion trained to retrieve their axes and distract their foes. Their magic is often used to enhance their own or their allies’ abilities, making their efforts more likely to succeed.

A black eel resembles a mass of tentacles. They live near waterways and are particularly abundant in the darkened waters of swamps. Lurking half-hidden in shallow waters, they lay in wait for a victim to stumble by. Its bite is a maddening distraction that slowly drives victims to petrified fear as they are slowly devoured.
