Back in the 90s noong si Kris Aquino Nahulog bigla sa stage 😲

Before becoming an ABS-CBN talent, Kris Aquino used to host GMA Supershow in the 1990s.

One of the most shocking moments on the show was when Kris accidentally fell through the stage!

Back then, Kris and Rene were paired with each other for the 1990 romantic-comedy movie Pido Dida.

The two went out on stage, waving to the crowd as they walked down the steps. They were supposed to sing a duet to promote their movie but this did not push through because of the accident.

The stage suddenly gave way and Kris fell while the late actor jumped down to assist her.

I pay for those moments when my son is so tired and he feels like he wants to give up but he doesn't.
I pay for the opportunity my child can have to make lasting friendships.
I pay for the opportunity that he can have amazing trainers who will teach him not just about the martial arts but about the fight of life.
I pay too, so my son can learn to be more disciplined.
I pay for my son to learn to take care of his body.
I pay for my son to be able to learn to work with others and to be a proud, supportive, kind and respectful member of the "TEAM".
I pay for my son to learn to deal with disappointment when he doesn't win or misses a move, even though he's practiced a thousand times, he still holds his head up and is determined to do better next time.
I pay for my son to learn to set and achieve goals.
I pay so my son can learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success doesn't happen overnight.
I pay so my son can be at the gym instead of getting involved with the wrong things on the streets.
I could go on and on, but to be short, I don't pay for him to train or fight, I pay for the opportunities that sport provides for my son to develop attributes that will serve him well throughout his life, and give him the opportunity to bless lives of others, respecting all spaces.
From what I've seen over many, many years, I think it's a great investment, and this is what I can leave for my children and society.

An anecdote tells that Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to open his car factory after an argument with Enzo Ferrari.

There is a little anecdote which makes the birth of Casa Lamborghini endearing. It is said that the real driving force in Ferruccio Lamborghini founding his automobile factory was an animated discussion he had with Enzo Ferrari. After all, both are known to have had a temper on them during their lifetimes, and some temper it was!

As long as Ferruccio Lamborghini is an entrepreneur in the tractor sector, sports cars are nothing but a passion for him. For example, he owns two Ferrari cars, but his experience with the Prancing Horse brand did not satisfy him as he expected. Hence, in 1962 he heads to Maranello to speak to Enzo Ferrari directly.

The problem Lamborghini points out to the Drake is the clutch: in his view it is way too small for the supercars of the Maranello-based company, and he suggests Ferrari should seek a solution. Ferrari, however, immediately incensed, retorts, “The clutch is not the problem. The problem is you don’t know how to drive a Ferrari and you break the clutch.”

Ferruccio’s reply is equally spontaneous and off the cuff, and also sounds like a challenge. “Dear engineer, I'll never buy your cars again. From now on I’ll make my own cars, then I can be sure they work the way I want them to.” No sooner said than done. One year later Ferruccio founds the Lamborghini company in Sant'Agata Bolognese. The goal, never concealed, will be to build “the perfect car”.

At the age of 24, Dolores Hart had achieved a rising career in Hollywood, engaged to be married and having her pick of roles. She had starred in 10 films, playing opposite names such as Stephen Boyd, Montgomery Clift, George Hamilton and Robert Wagner. However, she made the unexpected announcement that she was leaving the movie industry to become a nun!

The momentous decision was prompted after her appearance in Francis of Assisi, in which she portrayed St. Clare of Assisi. During filming in Italy, Dolores had the pleasure of meeting Pope St. John XXIII. When she introduced herself as “Dolores Hart, the actress playing Clare,” the Pope responded with “No, you are St. Clare of Assisi!”

The news shocked her friends and fans who thought she was “throwing her life away”. Hart later claimed that if her friends listened to what she heard, they too would come. Despite the criticism, she followed her heart and has remained a Benedictine nun to this day.
