I went out on a stag do on Saturday. Whilst trying out a burger place called in Coventry for a break in the session. The burgers were amazing but I also discovered this little banger!
Bone Idols Funland is a fantastic pale ale by which had a lovely balance of fruit and hops. It was so moreish I bought loads at the restaurant and even bought some to take home. It will feature on the next podcast episode if I can control myself 😂

First time at a football game for about 15 years. I got talked into it by my oldest son but it has been a fun day (albeit expensive 😂) Good to see goals from and a good display from Jed Wallace too. Might have to save up before I go again lol.
As the sun is shining, I thought it was only right to sample a fruity sour. This one from I’ve had for a while and I wish I had drank it sooner.
A delightfully delicate drink with a very fruity body and a smooth subtle sour after taste. Very moreish indeed.

We thought we would start it off with this beauty from and it’s a cracker! A light bodied beer with fruity tones and a subtle bitter finish, what’s not to like?!

Hi everyone, thank you for all you lovely comments and support over the last couple of months. Unfortunately Jacob lost his battle on Tuesday evening with this terrible disease.
We are beyond devastated but we will continue to remember his beautiful smile and personality forever.
Fly high little man.

This cracking little beer from was discovered at a local supermarket and boy was it a pleasant surprise. An IPA with subtle fruity undertones followed by a smooth bitter aftertaste make it very moreish. It doesn’t taste as strong as 6.0% either which is a bit concerning. Definitely recommended if you haven’t tried it.
Thank you all for your patience regarding the new format of the podcast. The plan is still to go ahead but slightly delayed as my time is focused on the remaining days with my nephew. I hope you all understand how important family is and these moments are precious.

Hi everyone, as some of you will already know, my family has had an awful year. In February my 2 year old nephew was diagnosed with brain and spinal cancer. He had an emergency life saving operation which saved his life and then underwent chemotherapy until 4 weeks ago.
The recent scans showed that the cancer hadn’t gone and in fact had come back stronger than ever meaning he only has a few weeks left to live. Another relative of Jacob’s has set up a gofundme page to help him enjoy the life he has left. I have added this to my link tree page in the bio so if you want to help a I’ll little boy enjoy the rest of his short life you can donate there.
We are beyond devastated and wish we could do something more but we will focus on making his remaining time with us a great as possible. Let’s make some good memories. Thank you.
As the weather has taken a cooler turn, I thought it would be wise to explore a wintery beer option in addition to giving you an update on the new podcast format.
This beer is a staple with smooth chocolate tones, a subtle caramel after taste which nicely offsets the natural bitterness from the porter. A wise choice for the colder months ahead.
As you know the podcast has gone through a slight change and will now be held as a guest format with myself moving forward. Due to the guest element, will be changing the frequency to a monthly basis in order to accommodate this with the first episode due up by the end of September. There are some exciting guests coming up so I look forward to sharing them with you soon 🍻
