Yesss, finally some new songs by WASTED YEARS! The new EP "Detours" will be out on April 4, 2025. Today, you can not only pre-order the 7" and some merch bundles, but you can also check out the title track on Bandcamp and all streaming services out there.

After the release of "Restless" in 2023, the band truly lived up to the record's title and was on the road restlessly. Shows with Lost Love, As Friends Rust, Algernon Cadwallader, and Inbalanceca on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean brought them to the Bay Area to record these four fantastic tracks. As the title suggests, it took one or two detours to reach their goal.

Once again, the songs are a mix of '90s emo and gritty indie rock, with a bit of a rough edge. I dare to say these are their catchiest songs to date!

Hey friends!

We’re excited to share some information about WASTED YEARS’ new 7” record.

The record will be called “Detours” and will feature four brand new songs.
The first track will be released next Friday, and on that day, the pre-order will also start.

Cati not only sings for WASTED YEARS but has also created the stunning artwork for the record. I can’t wait to see it printed a couple hundred times in our warehouse, haha!

We’re all super pumped about the results and hope you like it as much as we do!

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 14th, okay?

And don’t forget to come out to the “Detours” release show in April. It’s going to be a solid party with great bands!

First things first: Before we start any pre-order shenanigans or even post a song, save this date for a hell of a party in Cologne.

Wasted Years will release a new EP called "Detours" in April, and we will party the hell out of this banger with Irish Handcuffs, Eaten By Snakes, and The Heart Punches + an aftershow party with DJ Carlos Rodriguez until the early morning.

2024 is a wrap!
Three releases and plenty of good times!
TRUE GLOOM’s Demo came out this spring, and just a couple of days ago, SHELLYCOAT „The Darkness Shines So Bright“ and HELL & BACK „A Constant Buzz“ were released. Snag your copies if you haven’t yet!

EATEN BY SNAKES did some shows with across Germany, played at fest in New York City, and went on an East Coast tour with The Carolyn. And the party continues, the guys already have some festivals confirmed for 2025. Snakes on a plane again! 🐍

WASTED YEARS recorded some songs (hint hint) at in Oakland and played shows in California. Get ready for more news and many show dates in 2025!

TRUE GLOOM finally released some songs, played shows with and , and are currently working on a full-length album.

Sue of published the first season of Not Sorry’s Overshare Podcast. Season Two is just around the corner!

We went business p***y and hosted a NOT SORRY reception at Reeperbahnfest with SHELLYCOAT, WASTED YEARS, , and Dennis of .

Also more details on that in January: Maybe you’d like to hang out with all „Not Sorry bands“ and friends in other bands for a weekend in Hamburg in mid-June? We will put on the first Not sorry label fest.
Does it remind you of a bigger event we’ve been involved with over the last couple of years? Let’s just call it a way more intimate version of that, but with at least the same amount of fun, okay?
Less stress and more fun is a great resolution for 2025, innit?

They were the first band I ever interviewed for my fanzine, the first band I interviewed for an U.S. magazine, and they’ve also been regulars at the Booze Cruise Festivals. If you haven’t guessed already, they’re one of my all-time favorite bands!
