Hello, everyone!

We have some unfortunate news to share with you. Based on our benchmarks and pledge projections, it will be highly unlikely that we will meet our funding goal for JUST RUN. We have therefore decided to cancel this Kickstarter campaign.

We want to thank everyone who's supported JUST RUN in any way over the years. Your enthusiasm and encouragement have been the engines that kept this little game going. We just didn't have enough time to build a large enough audience before the campaign launched to get that critical mass of engagement.

The October Factory has big plans in 2023! More tabletop games are in the pipeline. We're mapping out some RPG modules and supplements. And because it's hard to keep a good zombie down, look for JUST RUN climbing back into the land of the living in the first half of 2023.

Daily Unlock #6: SAVE ME!

Before anyone can escape, you must find and then es**rt an injured survivor to the rescue chopper. They are hiding in the first dead end you discover, and they only have one half of their life points remaining. Sure, they can help you get out -- but if they die, so do you!

This is a higher-difficulty mission, but if you really want to test your mettle, combine it with Exterminate! Even better, crank up the Fast Zombies variation.

Daily Unlock #5: EXTERMINATE!

In this mission, players must destroy at least 5 zombies before they can escape. Easy, right? Except even one wound from a zombie will infect you with the undead contagion -- and at the beginning of every turn, you'll have to check to see if you lose another life point. Tick tock.

You can protect yourself in the Safer variation by putting Antidote cards in the search deck. If you want to raise your blood pressure, combine Exterminate! with any other mission.

Daily Unlock #4: MEMENTO MORI

The search deck has amazing weapons, terrible disasters *and* 6 memento cards. In this mission, players must have at least one of those memento cards in their inventory before they can escape.

That means players must spend their actions searching rather than running, and risking some awful catastrophe. Lucky players who find more than one memento could make a deal with another player -- or just destroy the item.

Too much? Give yourself a break with the Safer variation. Or shake it up with Fast Zombies. Yikes!

Daily Unlock #3: RECONNAISSANCE!

In this mission, players must uncover all 25 rooms on the board before *anyone* can escape. That means you must cooperate with your opponents, yet be prepared in any given action to make a deal with -- or even betray -- them. Of course, opening all those rooms is only going to spawn more zombies, so having a plan to work together and finish quickly is critical. For an extra challenge, do the Long Play variation to uncover 35 rooms. Or add Fast Zombies...if you dare.
