Heart Condition is a 1990 American comedy film directed by James D. Parriott. The film stars Bob Hoskins as Jack Moony, a racist, overweight Los Angeles police officer, and Denzel Washington as Napoleon Stone, a smooth-talking black lawyer. The story takes a supernatural twist when Moony receives a heart transplant following a heart attack and discovers that the heart donor was Stone, who died under mysterious circumstances.

After the transplant, Stone's ghost appears to Moony, visible only to him. Stone's spirit compels Moony to help solve the mystery of his death, leading to comedic situations as the two must work together despite their differences. The film blends elements of comedy, drama, and fantasy, exploring themes of race, redemption, and unlikely friendships.

Despite its unique premise and the talent of its leads, Heart Condition received mixed to negative reviews upon release. Critics criticized the script and tone, though some praised the performances of Hoskins and Washington. The film remains a curiosity in the careers of both actors.
