Ever wonder why you are the way you are?🤔 In this episode, we try to understand this by going back time to our childhood👧🏻 to analyse how it could have affected our personalities today. We are by no means psychologists, but we just want to try to understand ourselves more i.e. why we feel and behave certain ways, as it could be beneficial in many ways e.g. becoming more self-accepting and confident in life. How can you harness creativity? Have you ever just thought that you weren't creative or creative enough? Well dude we feel you. After watching a documentary on Netflix called 'The Creative Brain'🧠, we had a very nice and honest chat about what creativity meant for us personally. Creativity is definitely much more than just the arts– it is found in all fields. According to the film, there are three ways to become more creative. 📣So stoked to share this week's episode with a very special guest and friend Kohenoor ()!!

After graduating from just last year with a degree in graphic design, she went straight into freelancing and is now a budding freelance illustrator and designer based in North West England!! In the episode, she shared how it was like freelancing amidst the pandemic👀 , and shared many nuggets of advice for creatives who are interested in freelancing but have no clue how to start. We covered topics like networking, dealing with clients, building your own brand, and most importantly pricing your own work💵

For those of you who don’t know, our podcast name was actually based on the fact that we are three introverts! Because of that, we wanted to shed a little light on what it’s like being an introvert. We chatted about this in EP8, but in this episode, we dove more into the aspect of ‘being an introvert in an extroverted world’. We shared our personal experience and a little bit of our research🥸 We concluded that being an introvert is not such a negative thing after all! Introverts, we need you in this world❤️

Hey listeners!! We’re back from our break and we’ve got news to update you guys on... we’re EMPLOYED‼️ We will be heading off for a placement year, which is a year-in industry-program in British unis. In England we only have three years of uni experience and we have been so desperate to get a placement cuz we didn’t want to graduate in just three years🥲 However, it all worked out anyways and we are nervous, but mostly excited to gain some real-life experiences in the industry in the next academic year🎉

Tune in to hear all about the rollercoaster-like experience of our application process. The three of us don’t usually express our love❤️ through words, but we swear we do love our siblings. Studying as an international student🌎can be challenging when it comes to cultural differences and language barriers. In EP22, we chatted with Amanda (@amanda_kang0424) who is an international student from Taiwan and is now doing her placement year at Gymshark🏋️‍♂️ "It's okay to not be fluent (in English), and it takes time to adjust". This quote pretty much sums up Amanda’s experience living in the UK🇬🇧 She started her degree with a foundation year which acted as a springboard to adapting to the new culture. However, it was during the summer when she volunteered in Fiji🏝, that got her more in touch with the British culture. The summer after that, she also worked as a welcome team assistant to help other international students at our uni. Her experience helped boost her communication skills and confidence, which led her to where she is now. As a materials placement student, she mentioned the benefits of doing a placement and what she learned throughout it.
