✨ NEW EPISODE ✨ We have to admit this has been the most fun one yet, and almost nobody was spared from a little roasting. In this lively episode of The Ski Show Podcast, Kailey Koehler and Brea Lebda take over as hosts and turn the tables on Matt and Adam. This fun-filled conversation dives into Matt and Adam’s journeys in show skiing, the origins of the podcast, and many memorable moments and highlights. There is also copious amounts of drinking on the episode. Every time Matt and Adam ask a question, everyone has to drink. Rules are rules. Kailey and Brea also introduce a couple of new segments - “Would you rather?” and a twist on the game “Kiss, Marry, Kill,” they offer their own “Hot Takes,” and they have a couple of call-in guests. ✨ NEW EPISODE ✨ In this episode, hosts Adam and Matt welcome the legendary Cheryl Bermeo, one of the all-time greats in the world of show skiing and swivel skiing. They discuss her journey from learning to ski at a young age in the upper peninsula, to her move to Florida to become a professional skier, to becoming a National Champion and then a successful stunt woman. She was a member of the 2014 Team USA and shares stories about that experience, and she was one of the first in what has become a long line of show skiers to make the move into stunt work. Cheryl shares her insights on coaching, the significance of learning ballet to help your skiing, and offers advice for aspiring swivel skiers. Believe it or not, Cheryl didn't even learn how to swivel until she was 18 years old, and went on to become one of the World's best.

You spoke and we listened. You wanted more show ski talk, more info, more insight, more knowledge. In this episode, Matt, Dave, and Adam share all sorts of tips and ideas for building a higher scoring show.  It used to be that 400 points was the standard for a high scoring act, but in the difficulty chart era, scores have come down, and 350 is the new 400. There are lots of ways to increase your scores, and we touch on many in this episode - from areas to focus on in the box scores to several act ideas that you can score 350+.  Ideas abound in this episode!

✨NEW EPISODE✨ In this conversation, Matt and Adam recap the D2 Nationals, D1 Nationals, and the Buck Up Final. They discuss the injury of Pete Hegarty and his recovery progress. In recapping D2 and D1 Nationals they talk through all the individual event winners, the box scores and specialty awards, and ultimately the team events. They also interview Kailey Koehler, the winner of the Willa Cook Award for the third time and Kevin Bruckner, the winner of the Skip Gilkerson Award. They talk about Kailey’s improvement in swivel skiing and the hard work she put in to become proficient in swivel and jumping. They also discuss the challenges of organizing the show order when a skier is involved in multiple acts. Kevin shares his experience of winning the Skip Gilkerson Award and the injury he had to overcome. They wrap up the conversation by reflecting on their performances at Nationals and the importance of setting goals for the next season.
