Little Update on Will & The Evil Duck:
Just added some in-game hints to communicate the basic controls.
The controls remain basic and the UI is fully invisible. There's no annoying joystick or button hiding parts of the game:
π Left side of the screen to move
π Right side: (1) Swipe to Jump, (2) Tap for Action like Picking up and throwing objects, (3) Long Touch for interacting like saving the server, opening a coding station or even selecting a level.

Sharing some thoughts on current state of social media and one key aspect that changed how I look at the different platforms!
π Currently, the Kingdom is a custom-build platforms only for holders of a L10N NFT, but I am looking at other ways to provide that exlusive content as well. It's either extend the platform and put more development time into it or migrate to another place like Gumroad and focus 100% of my energy on games and content.

Here's basically the power of baking lights.
Realtime lighting is super expensive and having great shadows, reflections, ambiant occlusion and other small details is just not realistic without baking that information.

Those harmless bugs π wander around. You can pick them up, thrown them away or plug them into an interface and see what happens. They are truly harmless, buggy nevertheless, but harmless. Also cute. π

π» Tech Update:
The first prototype of the website is working. Authentication and Authorization is done the Web 3.0 way, which is pretty cool! So much more fun than standard username/password flows.
Next steps are about finalising the design, implementing the remaining features, deploying in the cloud and last but not least, plan the content that is going to be shared on the platform.

π° Latest news related to code vessels! Initially, they are scattered around the level and Will has to find them!
Now, there are also Coding Stations, that Will can interact with to produce custom programs! Push som levers and you have a freshly made program stored into a code vessel!

π΅οΈ Context Clues are so important in video games. They draw the player's eyes to a certain point of interest and shows them that there is something to do. In the game, some elements can be interacted with by performing a long touch. When the player is close, a first visual clue appears.
