🔦Universal Orlando Hotel Spotlight🔦

In 2025, Universal Orlando will be opening 3 new hotels adjacent to the highly anticipated Epic Universe. Having stayed at all 8 of the current Universal Orlando hotels (and loving every one of them), I’m counting down to the grand opening of Stella Nova on January 21 by spotlighting a different Universal hotel. You can find hotel tours of each on The Krystal Palace YT.

🌴Universal Aventura Hotel🌴

💸Price Range: Rates begin at $144 per night.

🏨Number of Rooms: 600 rooms & suites.

🚌Transportation: Shuttle Bus, Walking Distance to Volcano Bay.

🚗Parking cost: $23 per night.

Welcome to the modern Aventura Hotel! This is a “prime value” resort that is perfect for an adults-only stay. This is Universal’s smallest hotel (pre Helios Grand Hotel) and very technologically advanced. The rooms are controlled by iPads. Control the lights, temperature, TV and more on this iPad.

Although I love this hotel for an adults only stay, it does have a variety of room options for families. Double queen, standard king, deluxe, skyline view, and kid’s suites. The dining options here are some of my favorite - Urban Pantry is quick-service and has a lot of different and unique options. Bar 17 is located on the TOP of this hotel and offers stunning views of the surrounding Universal Orlando property.

Don’t forget about Relay the robot who wanders around the lobby and can deliver small items to your room!

🏨Number of Rooms: 2,200 rooms & suites.

🚌Transportation: Shuttle Bus, Walking Distance to Volcano Bay.

🚗Parking cost: $23 per night.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort is now considered a “value” resort at Universal Orlando and that makes it hands down the best value resort in Orlando. Cabana Bay is the perfect resort for families - enjoy the lazy river, water slide, 2 pools, BOWLING alley, ice cream shop, and more. The Bayliner Diner has options for the whole family to enjoy. Guests can also enjoy 2 pool bars and Starbucks in the lobby!

Cabana Bay has a variety of rooms ranging from standard 2 queen rooms to family suites. My personal favorite rooms here are the Volcano Bay view rooms. You will be in one of the two towers and have an amazing view of Volcano Bay water park (that you are just steps away from).

🏄‍♀️Endless Summer Surfside🏄‍♀️

💸Price Range: Rates begin at $99 per night.

🏨Number of Rooms: 750 rooms & suites.

🚌Transportation: Shuttle Bus.

🚗Parking cost: $19 per night.

Endless Summer Resorts are hotels that I recommend because of the price point & value. Some may be turned away by the fact that the only transportation is shuttle bus BUT the bus transportation is great. Compared to Dockside, I appreciate the smaller size of Surfside - especially for an adults only stay. The hotel has one pool with a pool bar, game room and fitness center for guests to enjoy.

Surfside opened in 2019 and the rooms are in great condition. This is very high on my list of favorite Universal resorts! They are pretty standard rooms but for $99 per night - it’s a great value! Surfside also offers 2 bedroom suites that sleep up to 6 which are PERFECT for families.

In terms of dining, at Beach Break Cafe, you can grab a nice quick-service breakfast, lunch or dinner. Grab a Starbucks drink in the lobby or a cocktail out at the pool bar. Late night snacking? Order a pizza to your room! 🍕
