Arson Awareness week is coming up (May 2nd.) We wanted to share the news that for the first time, ATF released all fires from the 2005 conviction of Thomas Sweatt. The fires were admitted to during a proffer session with the arson task force as part of a plea deal in 2005. Over 300 fires were released to Platform Media through a FOIA request for the true crime podcast ARSON. Previously only 45 fires were made public. The fires are catalogued in an interactive map on www.iaaiarson.com.

The International Association of Arson Investigators developed the podcast “Arson” that highlights top criminal arson investigations across the U.S. Season one is produced by IAAI in cooperation with ATF and was released this year.

In 2018, The Key School summer camp program allowed me to create a one-week intensive podcast camp for teens. My main goal, was to encourage these amazing people to use their voice, and to show them how podcasting could help amplify their message. I'm so proud to share "The Voice In Our Heads" by 2018 camper, and now high school Senior, Sarah Duffy. After attempts at creating a forum for teen mental health went unsupported by her school, Sarah turned to podcasting to create a community. I'm beyond proud of her.
