I was really nervous about doing this yoga ab series because I dont want people to think that you have to be ripped to participate OR better yet that I was guaranteeing abs. 💁🏽‍♀️ Sorry folks there are so many other factors that go with that and we don’t have enough space in this caption for it LOL 😂

Raise a hand if sometimes you get into your feelings 🙋🏽‍♀️ You know like when every Drake song starts to make so much sense. 😅 But in all seriousness we all have our struggles and need a little help sometimes. With today being World Mental Health Day, I want to encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your mental health and the ways we can support ourselves and those around us.

In the midst of this chaotic world and silent struggles it's essential to find ways to cultivate peace of mind. Yoga is a powerful tool that can help us do just that. Through mindful movement and breathwork, we can connect with our bodies and quiet the noise of the outside world.✨

But yoga isn’t the only tool and sometimes even as a teacher the practice isn’t enough. In high stress situations that need mental fortitude I tap into my faith practices, like listening to a christian podcast, reading encouraging devotions, and prayer. Ive learned that these things paired with my practices make a huge difference. 🩷

Remember, you are not alone. If you're struggling, reach out to a friend, family member, or mental health professional. There is no shame in asking for help.

Let's prioritize our mental health today and every day. 🙏💛

I want to first. Thank you all for your condolences. I so appreciate everyone that has reached out. Life can be tough sometimes, can't it? We all go through difficult moments that can really shake us to our core. As many of you know I lost my father and it's been a challenging time. I've been taking it one day by day and finding solace in my yoga practice.🩷

You see, yoga is so much more than just physical exercise. It's a way of life that teaches us how to connect with ourselves on a deeper level. When we're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed, yoga can help us find that inner peace and stillness we so desperately need.✨

For me, working on projects and teaching has been a way to channel my energy and keep my mind focused. I've been able to honor my emotions and take the time I need to grieve, while also staying productive and connected to my passions.⚡️

This week I am only teaching 2 classes. Monday Flow & Restore on and Tuesday in person .
