Taking time out to rest, rejuvenate and refresh is super important. Its self love in action. Yesterday I completely switched off and spent the whole day catching up with new Power Book II series, indulging in second helping of She Gotta Have It on Netflix then headed out in the evening to watch Les Miserables and grab a drink and bite. Felt so good to completely zone out. Today I'm gonna pick up my photography hobby and spend time working up a sweat doing some HITT pilates.

You don't need to be in this age group to appreciate the essence of what its saying. If you're hustler you'll relate on some level. We got a lot we wanna do and we ain't taking all day to do it. Lol. 6 months is a stretch though innit?
Now things feel like they are getting back to some kind of new normal. The hustle is more real than ever. Lets always be true to our desires but remember we are human. Take time. Trust. It will happen.

Hey Hey Hey! Hope you and your nearest and dearest are all well. The month of August hit us with 2 big blows which many of us are still dealing with. We hear that. This year has been and continues to be something right. Its one of the reasons we chose to dedicate our latest episode to 'coming togther'. Entitled Sister Circle, we are sharing with as our gift. Our light in the midst of darkness. Its so important we continue to keep in good spirits, stay connected, laugh, cry and release. We really hope you enjoy listening to 6 women of all backgrounds and ages open up and become vulnerable and real with ourselves and each other about these crazy times we find ourselves in and how its changed us and how we're choosing to move forward in all the uncertainty. I loved every second of being with my sisters and pray it blesses you all as much as it did and I . 🧡🧡🧡

With so much that has been happening in our worlds this year and all of the emotions, feelings and experiences it has brought to us, I wanted to just take a deep breath and a moment with our nearest and dearest who are journeying with us in this amazing, crazy, unknown, scary yet beautiful path called life. This year has connected us even more deeply than ever. First with ourselves and also with each other. In our latest podcast episode we create our own Ya-Ya's. We shared, we connected, we laughed, we learned and we let go. We and loved every second being with our sisters. Thank you again and for your energy, your vulnerability and your truth. What did you learn at school about history? If you were anything like me I never even paid attention because I was not interested the least about King Henry the VIII. Well. To me our latest episode, We Are One: Part 2, starts to shed light on some truths you wish you knew as a child. How did the British slave trade start and why? Why did it really end. Listen. I was blown away. Our guest .ogun.1 who is a lawyer, speak and author of A Fatherless Nation did an amazing job of turning me from something who hates history to someone who has committed to embark on my history, black history, African history.
