I have done the unthinkable and have taken an entire day off of work. It was hell. How do you people do it? Working is a vacation from boredom. Though it is a nice sunset and I did get a good day on the lake. What did you all do today?

I don't smoke often but I will old Toby roll on a few occasions. This pipe was gifted to me last year by a fan an I've yet to fire her up and she smoked great.
Pipes always remind me of long contemplation on a days hard work or sharing a quite moments reflection with a journeyed friend. I've smoked with less 5 people in my life as it means that much to me and this was the first time I've smoked since my father died in 2019. I'm particularly proud of myself today as I completed my entire back log of orders. For the first time in 2 years I am caught up and made extra. It's a good feeling on this warm after noon and I'm going to go and pick some stuff from the garden for dinner tonight. More work when the sun goes down but for now, contentment.

Guess who has to be a domestic goddess at 130 in the morning after working on pendants and blades for 10 hours, then spent 2 hours packing items up, just to stay up for a few hours more to make pickles out of my excess of cucumbers? I'm so very thrilled to be alive at the moment. So. Thrilled.
