Big Brother Naija will soon be back on TV.

The company has announced the audition date.

I found it interesting that the cost of being a headline sponsor for this year’s show is $4 million, while the cost of associate sponsorship is $2.5 million.

So what this means is that any brand that wants to be the headline sponsor has to budget 4 billion naira to be able to enjoy this privilege and exclusivity.

Big Brother Naija has been priced out of reach for most businesses that used to patronise the brand, let’s say four years ago.

Now I understand why Big Brother Naija is the biggest cash cow and money spinner for DSTV. Nigeria at the moment.

No other content on the DSTV bouquet generates as much revenue as this; not even English Premiership football comes close, despite the fact that most young Nigerians have an obsession with football.

But beyond this, I’m hoping to see the particular business that will take up this headline sponsorship with the Marco economic conditions, the declining purchasing power, and the headwinds that most businesses in Nigeria are currently facing.

At the end of the day, I'm not sure it's worth it to spend such a huge amount to be the headline sponsor of the show, even with its popularity.

But I might be wrong.

Police Es**rt D!es Inside Kaduna-Abuja Train While On Transit
One of the escorts attached to an Abuja-bound train l0st his life during a trip, on Thursday morning.
A passenger, who witnessed the incident, said when the train left Kaduna, there was no sign that the deceased was unwell.
"A police officer, who was one of the escorts on a Abuja-Kaduna train just died. He left home in good health. But later during the journey, he complained of chest pain and asked his colleague to get him some glucose and water.”
“There was no emergency medical care on the train. Before a doctor, who was also a passenger, could come, the officer was already dead,” the passenger said.

Shouldn't it be towards finding solutions to the problems plaguing our society rather than getting caught up in needless distractions?

I urge us all to channel our collective efforts towards addressing the real issues at hand. Let's focus on uplifting one another, fostering unity, and working towards a better future for all. And with this, I rest my case.

Audio conversation of how Former deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onojah planned to Infiltrate Usman Ahmed Ododo 's government through one Promise Emmanuel a.k.a Kogi Rebel has leaked out.

According to the trending Audio, Edward Onojah was heard giving instruction to Kogi Rebel to do everything possible to secure appointment under Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo so that he ( Kogi Rebel ) can be briefing him about the daily activity of Ododo's government.

Edward said, " one of the appointments I want you to secure is press secretary to the state government or any appointment relating to media.

" In that case, you will be in a better position to hear first hand information about government programs and policies".

Edward added, "You know Levi Atulukwu and few others that got appointments under Governor Ododo recently betrayed me and as such I wouldn't want to involve him in this assignment "

Kogi Rebel, who was saying"yes Sir, yes Sir", also said, " since you have given your blessing in this assignment, consider it done Sir".

" I haven't seen any intelligent person in this Ododo's government that can take those jobs from me and I shall do anything to secure the appointment ".

" One of the strategies I'd like to use is to start drawing or drumming support for Ododo on Facebook and Twitter ".

TRIBUNAL: USMAN ODODO TO BE SACKED, JAILED OVER FORGERY, AS HIGH COURT DISOWN FORGED DOCUMENT

As the legal battle intensifies to determine the rightful winner of the Kogi State Gubernatorial election, a dramatic twist unfolded at the election tribunal holding at the National Judicial Institute in Abuja. Exhibits presented to the court have further implicated Ododo Usman for forgery of his Age declaration.

A witness, who is a registrar and commissioner for oath, took the stand to authenticate Ododo's affidavit. However, during cross-examination by legal representatives from the APC, INEC, and SDP, the registrar disavowed the document, stating that it did not originate from the court and that numerous irregularities were detected.

Prior to the Kogi State November Gubernatorial election, concerns were raised about forgery in the documents submitted by Ododo Usman to INEC, a case that is already being contested in the federal high court. The addition of these new allegations to the petitioner's (Murtala Yakubu Ajaka) case may further spell trouble for Ododo. If these allegations are verified and proven true, he may face prosecution and a potential prison sentence.

Forgery is considered a serious criminal offense in Nigeria, and if found guilty, individuals may be subject to punishment in accordance with Section 463 of the Criminal Code.

WAr in Kogi APC , Over Muri Ajaka Replacement As Bello lead Faction Rejects Names Published by Ganduje National Headquarters.
Kogi APC forwards the following Names:
Hon. Yahaya Ade Ismail as the new Deputy National Publicity Secretary Muri Replacement and Hon. Isiaka Musa as the Zonal Organising Secretary for North Central Hon Ahmed Attah Replacement.
Where as Ganduje the National Chairman Approved: Hon. Duro Meseko (Deputy National Publicity Secretary).
And Ikani Shuaibu Okolo as the Zonal Organising Secretary (North Central).
The Kogi APC has since rejected the list and threatens to block major roads in Abuja to send a strong message to President Tinubu in what they called betrayal.
