A NOIVA

Um jovem casal se casou e, após o casamento, realizaram uma recepção na casa da avó da noiva. Toda a sua família e amigos estavam lá e eles riram, dançaram e cantaram, até tarde da noite.

Após a recepção do casamento, os convidados decidiram jogar um jogo de esconde-esconde. O noivo cobriu os olhos e começou a contar até cem, enquanto sua noiva e os outros convidados saíam correndo da sala, procurando um lugar para se esconder.

Eventualmente, o noivo encontrou todos, exceto sua linda noiva. Os outros convidados começaram a gritar seu nome e procuraram por toda parte pela jovem mulher. Eles começaram a ficar cada vez mais desconfortáveis por não conseguirem encontrar nenhum rastro dela.

Então, eles desistiram de procurar e todos assumiram que a garota tinha fugido e deixado o marido. Com o passar das semanas, o marido aceitou que sua linda esposa devia ter dúvidas sobre o casamento. Ele decidiu esquecê-la e continuar com sua vida.

Alguns anos depois, uma faxineira estava espanando o sótão da casa quando encontrou um baú velho. Por curiosidade, ela abriu. Dentro do baú, ela encontrou o cadáver de uma jovem mulher vestida com um vestido de noiva. Havia também um anel de casamento em um dos dedos ossudos. Era a noiva desaparecida. Ela deve ter se escondido no baú e acidentalmente se trancado lá dentro.

Era impossível dizer se ela havia sufocado ou morrido de fome, mas seu rosto estava congelado em um grito silencioso.

A partir desse dia que ela foi encontrada nesse baú, a noiva começou a aparecer, sempre às três da madrugada, sentada ao lado da cama de todas as pessoas que leram a sua história.
