Marketing your business can be difficult during the summer, if you're not selling a summer seasonal product or service. A lot of people go on vacation, and are focused on enjoying the outdoors and the many opportunities to explore and have fun. What's a business owner to do?
Being aware of our customers' lifestyle and engagement/spending patterns helps us plan accordingly. If you know your customer is checked out during the summer, then you can post content that is short, sweet, and doesn't ask for much in return. That way you keep in touch without spending a lot of time and energy promoting offers that may not be a timely fit for their needs.
Summer is a great time to plan your fall campaigns. It is a great time to work on your fall and holiday content, to think about what you will offer and go ahead and draft your posts and emails. Especially if you have a product or service that will have a holiday sale! These campaigns require extra time and effort, so go ahead and decide what special offer you will make. That will give you a little more breathing room to enjoy the holidays a little more yourself.
Would you be interested in support in planning your content and campaigns? Would you like to do this as part of a group? I am enrolling members into my Holistic Marketing Momentum program where we will be:
đ Learning about the 3 types of content we need to market our business
đ Strategically building out our content in advance for the month(s) ahead
𧱠Laying the foundation for testing advertising
This is worth considering if you:
- Are just starting out with social media to promote your business
- Have been spinning your wheels on social media and feel lost
- Are ready to attract new people who are aligned with your values and in need of your product/service, and would like to test advertising in a smart, strategic way
I will be teaching my system which comes from over a decade of working exclusively with early stage startups to sustainably grow.
If you're interested, please send me a message.
Stay cool,
