The scammer that runs this has determined that if he ignores the BBB inquiries, eventually they drop it. Two things-the BBB is useless and if you look up the inquiries that have been instigated but later dropped with this "publishing" company-(drop publisher) you will see that there are over 2,000 of them.

After attempting to file a chargeback with my credit card, The Book Patch took so long that the case was dropped. I was told that is what they usually do to avoid repayment. Luckily, I used my Discover card so they are giving me the chargeback regardless. You have to follow up every week, if not every day when you're trying to get your money back from this guy. He's a true scam artist.
