ADVISORY

In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects, and other requirements as the end of school year is fast-approaching, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on April 15-16, 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their respective stations.

However, activities organized by Regional and Schools Division Offices, such as Regional Athletic Association Meets and other division or school level programs, to be conducted on the aforementioned dates may push through as scheduled.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Nobyembre 14, 2022 – Nagpapasalamat ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa Senado ng Pilipinas sa pag-aproba ng budget ng Kagawaran at kaugnay na mga ahensiya para sa Fiscal Year 2023.

Sa gitna ng iba’t ibang hamon na kinakaharap ng basic education, na mas pinalala ng pandemyang COVID-19, tunay na kinakailangan ang whole-of-nation-approach para sa learning recovery.

Sa pangunguna ng ating sponsor at education champion na si Sen. Pia S. Cayetano ngayon, tiniyak ng ating mga kagalang-galang na senador na magkakaroon ng sapat na pondo ang Kagawaran para simulan ang ating daan patungo sa pagbangon.

Sa pamumuno ni Bise Presidente at Kalihim Sara Z. Duterte, at sa panibagong tiwala at kumpiyansa mula sa ating mga mambabatas, tinitiyak ng Kagawaran na epektibong magagamit ang pondo sa pagbibigay ng naaabot at dekalidad na basic education para sa kabataang Pilipino na kapwa inklusibo at nagbibigay lakas.

Matapos ang tatlong oras ng paghagupit ng malalakas na hangin at matinding ulan na dulot ng Super Typhoon Noru na pinangalanang Bagyong Karding, ganap na ika-siyam ng gabi hanggang hatinggabi nitong Setyembre 25, 2022, makikita ang mga pinsala at pagbaha sa pagdaan nito sa malaking bahagi ng Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Isa sa mga binayo nito ang bahagi ng Central Luzon. Sa partikular, ang ilang mga barangay dito sa bayan ng San Miguel bulacan ay nalubog sa baha. Ang ilan ay napinsala din ang mga tahanan, mga pananim at ari-arian.
May mga lugar na walang supply ng kuryente dahil sa pagtumba o pagtagilid ng poste ng Meralco. May mga ilang bahagi din ng kalsada ang naging one lane dahil sa mga punong kahoy na nangagtumba at nabaling malalaking sanga.

Light to moderate to at times heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced over portions of (Talakag, Baungon, Sumilao, Valencia, Pangantucan, Lantapan, ManoloFortich), (Tudela, Oroquieta, Tangub, DVChiongbian), (Caraga, Manay, Baganga, Tarragona), (Maragusan, Pantukan), (Talaingod), (Carmen, Lanuza, Cortes, Tandag, Cortes, SanMiguel, Cagwait), (Sibagat, Esperanza, SanLuis), (TagoloanII, Bubong, Wao), (SergioOsmenaSr.), (Josefina, Molave, Labangan, Dumalinao, SanPablo, Guipos, SanPablo, Dinas, SanMiguel, VASagun), Sulu(KalingalanCaluang, Maimbung, Pata) which may persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
