Bio
DJ, producer & label owner Sam Dexter started his journey in house music like many label owners do - by releasing tracks his friends were making. Things have come a long way since Beigean's 2015 debut on Dexter's Hungarian Hot Wax imprint. Shortly afterwards he began working in A&R at legendary house imprint, Glasgow Underground. He soon helped Glasgow Underground to its first Beatport #1, signing Andrew Meller's huge 2018 remake of the classic "Born Slippy". In the same year, Dexter began his journey into production. His releases for Glasgow Underground ("Get Down Boy" and "Share A Little Ecstasy") saw him gain support from A-list DJs (Steve Lawler) and Radio 1 heavyweights (Annie Mac & Pete Tong). 2020 has seen Sam focus on a deeper house sound with both his own releases on Glasgow Underground and his Hungarian Hot Wax label regularly hitting the Beatport charts.
