Cynthia McSweeney of Norwood was one of the many who traveled to the vaccination site at the Rodda Center after the registration website crashed on Sunday. She said there was no indication that COVID-19 vaccinations would be for Teaneck residents only until she got there. She and her 65-year-old husband, who has underlying medical issues, were turned away.

"Holy Name is a regional medical center, and they have no business letting just Teaneck residents get the vaccine," McSweeney said.

Teaneck High School was covered with messages such as "BLM" and "ACAB" after intruders broke in and spray painted the inside and outside of the high school between Thursday night and Friday morning, police said.

The 21-year-old was involved in a three-car crash on Wednesday night. Following the crash, which disabled Smith's car, she got out of her vehicle and was struck by a tractor-trailer.

The woman was involved in a three-car crash before being struck, New Jersey State Police said.

A legal battle between Teaneck and Elie Jones over his access to public records ultimately cost the township nearly $100,000.

Since prevailing in that case, Jones has renewed his search for documents, submitting hundreds of requests and creating another backlog at the township clerk’s office.

He'll stop, he told the town, in exchange for $20,000.
