Is your love for fried food harming your mental health?

Do you find yourself constantly craving deep-fried delicacies like french fries, fried chicken, and fried doughnuts? While these foods may be delicious, they could also be harming your mental health.

Research has shown that a diet high in fried foods can increase the risk of depression and anxiety. Consuming too much-fried food can lead to inflammation in the body, which has been linked to a higher risk of mental health issues.

New research has suggested that consuming fried food, especially fried potatoes, can increase the risk of anxiety by up to 12% and depression by up to 7%.

The study, published in the journal PNAS, analyzed data from over 140,000 people over 11.3 years and identified a higher risk of anxiety and depression among those who consumed more than one serving of fried food regularly, particularly young men.

The study also found that fried potatoes had a 2% increase in the risk of depression compared to fried white meat.

However, nutrition experts have pointed out that the study does not prove that consuming fried food is the major factor causing mental health problems

So, the next time you're tempted to indulge in some fried food, think twice. Consider opting for healthier alternatives like baked or grilled options, or even experimenting with air frying. Your mind and body will thank you in the long run!

“Children don't experience mental health problems” is a very common myth that changes the direction of thoughts when most people in society are not aware of the existence of mental health. But in reality, it is evident that half of the mental health disorders show first signs before a person turns 14 years old and three-quarters of mental health disorders begin before age 24.

Another very important thing is that the support which can be given to a child at a very early age helps in resolving problems that could interfere with a child’s developmental needs in later life.

Sleep patterns will change over the first year of a baby’s life, including the number of hours of sleep needed and the duration of sleep periods throughout the day and night.

A realistic goal is to help your baby sleep consecutively throughout the night by the time they reach their first birthday. As they grow into toddlers and school-age children, their sleep needs will become more similar to those of adults.

Whenever I feel so heavy from inside I use to wrote self-compassionate letters that always proved to be very therapeutic for me as I feel so much better after thinking about my positive side which was hiding inside me that needs to be highlighted. In the letter, I chose to write about the things, people, or situations that I am grateful for that help me sleep better, lowering my stress issues, and improved my interpersonal relationships. I consider them love notes for myself that remind me how much I deserve, that I deserve to be loved. I am valued from inside as well as from outside.
The same goes for you, whenever you got a chance to look in the mirror, you must notice how beautiful you are and notice the sparkle in your eyes. When you read or write or whatever you do something productive, praise yourself that how amazing your mind is. Everything you notice going on in there and realize that it’s not even the smallest part of what is happening. You could not able to figure out the tiny changes happening in your body every second of every day that helps you to keep on alive. Trust me; you have many reasons to live on earth, you just need to find them as early as you can and strive for fulfilling the goals interlinked with them.
Whatever happens in your life you must love yourself which means give yourself a priority!! Priority to your happiness and wellbeing. Always consider yourself on the right path as it is all written by Almighty but sometimes you have to make serious decisions, you have to change the direction your path going in and that’s OKAY!!! Completely fineeeee.
One day everything will be okay!!! Believe in the process and love where you are!!

To have a night of better sleep, it is necessary to observe your daily sleep schedule, which should not include too much consumption of caffeine or alcohol. From this, our irregular sleep schedule could interfere with the quality of sleep. According to different research studies, daily consumption of coffee and smoking are the two largest factors linked with poor sleep quality.
To understand and follow the habits of sleep hygiene we must also consider the signs of poor sleep hygiene.

Panic disorder is one of the most common anxiety disorders, with lifetime prevalence rates in the general population reported between 2.1–4.7%. Panic disorder is typically associated with a chronic progression, which results in economic burden and a loss of quality of life, therefore, proper prevention and treatment of the panic disorder are important.

IKIGAI: the Japanese secrete to a long and happy life is a cute little read: D with a very pretty baby blue title cover and a motivational statement written on it that can easily attract a person who has a habit of picking books without reading their reviews. I like the concept of a book which surrounds the word IKIGAI that literally means – everyone has a purpose in life that helps them jump out of the bed every morning.
The writer claims that this book will become an inspiring, comforting, and life-changing tool for the reader that can help in finding the IKIGAI. If someone wants to find answers to the questions like, How to find out your actual passion? How to nurture friendship and purpose in life? and how to become less anxious in life? then this book is actually written for that person.
My point of view:
In my view, the core philosophy of IKIGAI was not comprehensive enough and the writer did not explain the term “IKIGAI” actually in the right way rather it seems frustrating for me as I find the writing disorganized. If you are new to IKIGAI, looking for a decent intro to it, this is definitely not your book.
I would like to give it 5 out of 10 as I like the message of the book and the whole concept but I found the book focused more on longevity and how centenarians claim they were able to live so long. I believe the writer did not have a flow. In this matter, if I ever wanted to read more about the term IKIGAI, I would rather choose any other book.
