PEI Fall Flavours Food & Drink Festival is right around the corner! Last year during I was able to attend this fun and intimate event at called “The Oyster Deck Experience”.

The oyster focused menu was spot on and Chef Coranna from was cooking up incredible meals. I was a big fan of this event, if you find yourself without plans this October 7th get your tickets and check this out. You won’t be disappointed. 🦪

We are back home from our little vacation to , and I want to share a little recap with you all because it was a genuinely great stay.

The food, staff, accommodation, local attractions and views were so memorable and impressive. We’ve stead at many hotels over the years, but this one stands out to us. Big thank you to the Rodd Miramichi for having us and being so hospitable. We appreciate it, and we will certainly be back!

A weekend well spent with talented like minded people. No trip to Cape Breton is ever wasted, there is so much to see and do. This was our first time staying in Baddeck and it is a beautiful town situated right on the water, with lots of tourist attractions & accommodations!

I highly recommend that you grab a couple of friends and take a road trip to Cape Breton to chase some waterfalls. It will not disappoint!

Got out to explore North Cape for the first time in a few months (I’m usually lazy when March-April comes around)

It was a sunny and warm day, but on our drive up Kalyn pointed out the fog bank rolling in across the water. Within 20 minutes of being at North Cape we couldn’t see a thing 😂
