Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan on Saturday claimed that over 200 people died in the Chapra h***h tragedy and accused the state government of hiding the actual number of deaths by “burning the bodies” without any post-mortem.

“More than 200 people have died. Truth is being suppressed. The last rites were performed without a postmortem. They (the government) are threatening the victims’ families to jail them if they tell the truth,” Paswan said while talking to ANI. Paswan further said that Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar supports the corrupt officials with his “silence”.

This is for the first time in more than fifty years that Mahathir has lost an election. The police nabbed a man for murdering his Hindu live-in partner and disposing of her chopped body in the National Capital.

As per reports, the accused was identified as one Aftab. He met the victim, Shraddha, in Mumbai. The duo worked together at a call centre. Shraddha fell in love with Aftab and eloped from her home after her parents disapproved of her relationship with Aftab.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday said that the controversial Delhi excise policy was leaked to certain liquor companies way before the policy could come into effect. In its investigation, ED found that Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and several other VIPs changed around 140 mobile phones in order to destroy digital evidence. ED informed about these findings to a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court.

Notably, ED arrested two executives of private liquor companies allegedly involved in the case. Benoy Babu, Delhi regional head of French wine company Pernod Ricard, and P Sarath Chandra Reddy, whole-time director of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd have been arrested.
