In life we need to be more careful about friends more than enemies. Most rats die with food in their mouths thinking someone is feeding them yet someone is killing them in form of feeding them.

There are friends who help you in life so that it will be easy for them to destroy you later. Abraham went on a journey with Lot. God was silent until they separated then He spoke to Abraham again. At times its the friends around you that push God away from you.

Evaluate your friends as you about to start a new year. How did they build you last year? How did they encouraged you last year? Don't keep them because you will have none to talk to...maybe that's the reason God is not talking to you or you can't hear him.

Personally I have witnessed who are my friends and my enemies and last year God has shown me the right path I hope Mungu awabariki and awaonyeshe ku differentiate your real friends and enemies... Wishing you a blessed Tuesday and Be wise."

President Uhuru Kenyatta lifts cessation of movement in and out of the zoned area. The zoned area comprised of Kiambu, Nakuru, Machakos and Kajiado counties.

Other measures revised by the government are as follows:

✅ Hours of curfew in the zoned area will be between 10 pm and 4 am beginning today midnight.

✅ In-person and congregational worship shall resume in strict compliance with the Inter-Faith Council guidelines and the Ministry of Health and shall not exceed a third of the capacity of places of worship.

✅ Operations of restaurants and eateries in the zoned area shall resume in strict compliance issued by the government. The facilities are encouraged to utilize outdoor spaces to maximize on physical and social distancing.

✅ All educational institutions in all levels of learning to reopen in accordance with the calendar issued by the Ministry of education.

✅ Resumption of sporting activities shall be guided by regulations to be issued by the Ministry of Health jointly with the Ministry of Sports.

✅ All bars in Kenya are to operate until 7 pm.

✅ Employers are encouraged to allow their workers to work at home with the exception of critical essential service providers who cannot work remotely.

✅ All hospitals are directed to limit the number of visitors for hospitalised patients to one visitor per patient per day.

✅ The prohibition of political gatherings is extended until otherwise directed.

✅All other containment measures not captured in the above-revised measures remain in force.

Covid-19 has set back the global youth agenda, President Kenyatta says

NAIROBI, 30th April 2021 (PSCU) – The Coronavirus pandemic has temporarily set back the global agenda of ensuring young people aged between 10 to 24 years are in education, training or employment by 2030, President Kenyatta has said.

The President noted that globally, schools for more than 168 million children have been closed for almost an entire year due to Covid-19 lockdowns.

“Young people have lost jobs and livelihoods and others have been exposed to personal risks such as teenage pregnancy and alcohol and drug abuse,” the President said.

The President spoke on Friday evening during a Generation Unlimited (GenU) global leadership council meeting held virtually and attended by Prime Minister Alexander De Croo of Belgium, President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana and former British PM Gordon Brown.

President Uhuru Kenyatta arrives at the National Geospatial Data Centre in Nairobi County to preside over the official launch of the National Land Information Management System (NLIMS).

The new system dubbed 'Ardhisasa', is a digital land resource management platform designed to enhance the security of land records, speed up land transactions and curb fraud.

Ardhisasa was developed locally by a team of young Kenyan techies over a three-year period in a multi-agency Government arrangement championed by President Kenyatta.

President Kenyatta condoles with the Obama family

NAIROBI, 29th March 2021 (PSCU) - President Uhuru Kenyatta has condoled with the Obama family following the death of Mama Sarah Onyango Obama.

Mama Sarah, who is the third wife of the paternal grandfather of former US President Barack Obama, died Monday morning in Kisumu.

In his message of comfort, the President mourned the Obama family matriarch as an icon of family values and a philanthropist whose contribution to the progress of the Kenyan nation shall be dearly.

"The passing away of Mama Sarah is a big blow to our nation. We've lost a strong, virtuous woman. A matriarch who held together the Obama family and was an icon of family values," the President eulogised.

Mama Sarah Obama will be remembered by many for her philanthropic work especially in her Nyang'oma Kogelo home in Siaya County where she initiated several community development projects.

"She was a loving and celebrated philanthropist who graciously shared the little she had with the less fortunate in her community," the President mourned Mama Sarah, 99, who passed away while receiving treatment at a Kisumu hospital.

The President wished the Obama family God's grace as they mourn their departed matriarch.
