As mentioned in a previous post, one of our own, Brian Musolino, Rescue Lieutenant of Hegins Valley Fire-Rescue and EMT for PennState Health Life Lion, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at a young age of just 45 years old.

Brian has been very active in the community, to which he lives with his wife Kelly and daughter Mykenna, for more than a decade. Prior to moving to the Hegins area, Brian began his volunteering career in 1992 with the Freeland Fire Department and the Freeland Northside Community Ambulance. His dedication to selflessly volunteering to help others is very admirable.

Hegins Valley Fire-Rescue and PennState Health Life Lion are both grateful to have Brian as part of our team. To show our support for him and to make sure he knows HIS FIGHT IS OUR FIGHT we have joined forces to create a T-Shirt sale.
We would be honored to have as many people as possible join us in supporting Brian with his fight! All proceeds will go to help Brian with medical and financial expenses to make this hurdle a little bit less stressful for him!

🚒Several ways to order🚑
💪🏻Click on this link https://hegins-valley-fire-rescue.square.site/
💪🏻Print the attached order form (in comments) and mail with a check to Hegins Valley Fire-Rescue, P.O. Box 146, Hegins, Pa 17938.
💪🏻Place orders directly with any member of either entity.

🚒A few things to make note of🚑:
💪🏻ALL orders and payment are due to Hegins Valley Fire-Rescue NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 10th
💪🏻ALL orders MUST BE PICKED UP AT HEGINS VALLEY FIRE-RESCUE SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST 10 AM – 3 PM (unless other arrangements are made.)
💪🏻Please indicate on your order form if this will be a “BULK PICK-UP” (seller will pick up entire order and distribute) or “INVIDUAL PICK-UP” (everyone on order form will pick up their order at HVFR.)
If you are ordering for a specific group, (i.e. another fire or ems company) we ask that you please collect all orders for your group and submit one “bulk” order with one payment to HVFR under the group name.
💪🏻If you request that your order be shipped, please note, shipping charges will apply.

Above all, there is power in prayer! We ask that you continue to lift him up in prayer for strength, peace, comfort, and healing.

We would like to thank everyone for your support for Brian and his family during this difficult time.

From: Kallin Pemberton

This man has 61 years on the job, at one of the top 10 busiest fire departments in the nation (with a small hiatus to go to Vietnam and stack bodies). He’s a battalion chief in one of our busier battalions. He’s forgotten more fires than most of us will probably ever see in our career. As you can see by the picture, he’s not a stand in the front yard and point kind of chief. He likes to bury up and do work! If you screw up, he’ll let you know. And then it’s immediately water under the bridge. But just as quickly, if you do a good job, he’ll make sure everyone knows. He’s a fireman’s chief, a force to be reckoned with, and one tough SOB.
This job was yesterday, in the afternoon with a high of 102. The heat index was much higher than that. The brothers were there for over 6 hours…with this man right beside them.
Side note: He was literally on duty the day JFK was assassinated…

24/07/2022

We are going to shift the focus of the page for fire departments to post thier events trainings and messages to the community. We will still try to post fire scene footage and calls. If any fire departments would like to post feel free.
