The advice that rocked my world.

Early this year I was at a familiar place where I met an unfamiliar face. A stranger Journeying by and sat down to talk with me me for a while.

We begin to talk about God and about purpose and calling over one’s life. The conversation went in the direction of empowerment and speaking.

The men begin to speak to me as if he knew me or have been watching me. He said many things about me but the one thing that shook me was his instruction. “stop toning down yourself”.

at first I thought it was my appearance but after ponder on his words days after I realized it transcended to my internal.

I tone down the external to discourage men from seeing me as desirable or attractive and in doing so I also tone down my spirit because I was not truthful to myself.

The conversation ended with this note if you have to change who you are to be accepted for what you can give then you are not in the company of the right people.
