On Friday, September 22, Saline Missionary Baptist Church in Tull will host a Better Dads conference. The evening event will begin at 6:00 with a catfish dinner catered by the men of John 3:16. The meal is free but will only be guaranteed for the first 200 in the door. Our presenter and keynote speaker will be former Washington County Judge Joseph Woods. Joseph has a powerful testimony as a newborn abandoned in the streets of Chicago. Today, Joseph models what being a Better Dad is all about to his three daughters, two sons-in-love, and three incredible grandchildren. Utilizing a free workbook for each attendee, Joseph will take men of all ages through lessons that will challenge, inspire, and guide them to be Better Dads. The materials are adapted to equip males of all ages, regardless of whether you’re a dad now or not. The evening will wrap up around 10:00. To help us prepare adequately, we ask that you register yourself or your group by simply sending an email to [email protected] with the phrase “Better Dads” and the number attending. While last minute decisions to attend are welcome please try to register by Thursday night, September 21. Please share to help push out the word.
