"Its a beautiful day to choose rest over a false sense of urgency"

I heard something from one of my clients yesterday I had never heard before. She said she was turning off her phone for the weekend as a gift to herself.

It really made me think - wow - is that even possible?
It has never even crossed my mind, but it got me thinking of all of the benefits she must receive from it to be able to so beautifully refer to it as a "gift".

Guys, we spend way too much time on our phones and laptops. There becomes a point where we are no longer being productive, and we're just spinning our wheels.

This weekend, let's try together to spend at least an hour outside away from our devices, with friend, family, or as some much needed alone time.

Give yourself permission to delegate.

I get it, I used to HATE delegating any of my work out of fear it wouldn't be done correctly.

What I found was that when I did let go and allow others to help me, they were more than capable and willing to help.

In the end, I was beyond grateful to have the help, and now I wonder how I ever did it alone.
