The AOCC 2020 organizing committee appreciates your interest in AOCC 2020.

As previously announced, the AOCC 2020 organizing committee had been preparing a hybrid congress. However, due to the recent surge of COVID-19 around the world, the committee has decided to move forward as an Online Congress only so that all participants can present and attend safely.

As our priority is always the health and safety of our attendees, as well as the patients and communities they serve, this difficult decision has been made, and we hope for your kind understanding.

Our virtual platform will feature world-renowned speakers, oral presentations and e-Posters, making for a unique opportunity to innovate in an engaging and rewarding platform for both presenters and attendees to share research and contribute to the best insights on the advanced IBD field.

Q. How can I participate in the Virtual Congress as an attendee?
A. To attend, please register through our official website by November 13, 2020. An On-demand VOD Service will be provided during the congress period and invited lectures will be uploaded and available for viewing for 3 months on the virtual website.

Q. What is the difference between Virtual and Onsite participation?
A. Virtual participants may not enter the onsite congress. As for the rest, virtual participants can enjoy everything that the congress has to offer: Live lectures and Real-time Q&A by live-stream.

AOCC 2020 will be in a virtual format due to the ongoing concerns about the current situation of COVID-19. All participants are required to register through the AOCC 2020 online registration system and advised to register in advance (by November 13, 2020)!

To expand opportunities for presenters, a greater variety of awards will be offered to increase the chances of winning. Domestic participants(Korean) may choose either Virtual or Onsite congress, while overseas participants may only choose Virtual participation. AOCC 2020 has been monitoring the status of the COVID-19 outbreak around the globe. Unfortunately, as the global situation has not markedly improved, it is difficult to anticipate how the travel restrictions for each country (and their affiliation) will change by December. After careful consideration, the AOCC 2020 Organizing Committee has decided to move forward with a Virtual and Onsite Congress to address the concerns of participants who are unable to confirm their participation and to ensure the stability of the schedule.
