Hubble & NASA's James Webb Space Telescope make a dream team for studying early planet formation! | These protoplanetary disks were spotted around young stars in the Orion Nebula by Hubble. Once Webb begins science operations, its infrared images of protoplanetary disks can be compared with Hubble’s visible images. Scientists will be able to learn about the dust’s composition, which will help them understand the very earliest phases of planet formation.
