Fabricated the rear butterfly mudguards yesterday. Luckily I had one of the originals, too corroded and cracked to use but good enough to use as a pattern. It also had the original nearside brackets, so the next task will be to make replacements for the missing offside ones.

It looks like more of the body will need replacing than I had hopes, too many cracks, tears and butchery by a previous owner. An interesting day making paper patterns ready to cut out the new panels from 1.2mm aluminium..... It looks like I only get one go at getting this right!
