*OWERRI MUNICIPAL NEW MEDIA TEAM MEETS FOR THE FIRST TIME*

Julian Chijioke, Owerri.

A constellation of all New Media Officers in Owerri Municipal under the aegis of Owerri Municipal APC New Media Center ,and the states Government's Owerri Municipal Hope New And Electronic Media Center today met for the first time in a bid to bring the two different centers to reside under the state owned body and champion the course of both the state Government and the APC in Owerri Municipal.

In his first ever remark for the body , the Former APC and now Owerri Municipal Hope New And Electronic Media DG Comr. Julian Chijioke said the intent behind the unification effort is to ensure that all New Media Officers working for the Progress of the Shared Prosperity Government of Dist.Sen Hope Uzodinma , operate in sync and improved synergy.

Comr. Julian added that the Directorate which also involves new media ward coordinators drawn from the 11 wards in Owerri Municipal , has as its major priority the propagation of the APC ideology under the visionary leadership of *Hon. MacDonald Ebere(PhD) and Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim* , and dissemination of the shared prosperity drive of the present Government , since everyone involved are first party adherents .

He said another reason for the team's emergence is to help bring Government's 3R effort down to the grassroot and as well bring to Government's knowledge challenges and informations birthed at the rural level .

Adding weight to the remarks of the DG , the Deputy Director of Owerri Municipal Hope New And Electronic Media Center who also the Ward Chairman of Azuzi ward II , Hon. Soronnadi Justice said the body will not be party to any faction or group of people who plan to stifle the plan of the state Government or poison the effort of Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim led APC . He added that instead the body will use it's access to all New Media Paraphernalia to scuttle any divide and rule ploy in Owerri Municipal.

The meeting which was born out of the selfless desire for excellence and uniqueness has Media coordinators and content creators from the 11 wards in Owerri Municipal present .

The Non-Interest AGSMEIS Traders dealing in foodstuff, electronics, allied products, computers/phones, spare parts, building material, transportation, etc.

Loan Amount: Up to N3,000,000
Moratorium: Up to 12 Months
Tenor: Up to 36 Months

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞:
1. If you have benefited from the COVID-19 TCF, you're not eligible for the new non-interest TCF. However, you are eligible to apply for the Non-interest AGSMEIS of N3,000,000.

2. If you have already benefited from the regular AGSMEIS programme, you are also not eligible to apply for the new non-interest AGSMEIS. However, you can apply for the non-interest TCF of N500,000 or N750,000.

3. While the application for the non-interest TCF of N500,000 or N750,000 has no special requirements, application for the regular and Non-interest AGSMEIS of N3,000,000 requires applicants to undergo compulsory short business training, certification and business plan from CBN approved Enterprise Development Institutes (EDIs).

REGISTRATION EXERCISE FOR GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISE EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM (GEEP) IN IMO STATE.

This is to notify everyone that the registration exercise for GEEP 2.0 has commenced at the LGA Secretariats across lmo state. Community Orientation and Mobilisation Officers (COMOs) of National Orientation Agency have the mandate for the Sensitization and registrations ONLY of intending applicants in collaboration with GEEP desk Officers at the 27 LGAs in Imo State.

The program is a zero interest loan for artisans, enterprising youth, micro and small traders, poor women, widows, people living with disabilities, and agricultural workers etc
The programme’s current loan products are: Marketmoni, (N50,000) Tradermoni (N50,000) and Farmermoni (N300,000)

Those who have benefited from any federal government loan in the past, of any kind, such as the first GEEP 1.0, SME Fund, Covid 19 Grant, Nirsal, Survival Fund etc are not qualified to apply for the GEEP 2.0 program.

Absolutely no application form is required. Applicants will be enumerated on the register provided by the Federal Government which every COMO is in possession of in each LGA. Prospective beneficiaries are required to fill out the register by themselves.

PLEASE NOTE
The National orientation agency (COMOs) all have offices within the premises of the 27 LGAs. Kindly inform your candidates to take advantage of this opportunity as soon as possible.
