3-2-1… and that’s the girl!

I’ve been dreaming of taking photos of a gender party for a while and then one day I received a message if I could assist one. I said “YES!”

That was such a warm and the same time quite unusual event organized for the family abroad on the video call. And I was thinking… there are so many things we want our families to share and now finally nothing can stop us. Photos and videos made it possible to extend happiness across the globe and through time. Looking at these pictures I’m truly inspired by this idea and thank for giving me this opportunity to capture it.

📸 It’s no secret that I’ve heard variations of ‘sorry, we found a cheaper photographer’ countless times. Initially, it stung, and I’d scramble to win them back. But today, I embrace rejection. Why? Because photography isn’t my primary source of income; it’s my guilty pleasure. I set my own rules, avoiding burnout and staying true to my style: naturally airy photos, easy communication, flexible payments, and official business practices.

Choosing clients is a two-way street. They pick me for my style and professionalism, while I select them based on chemistry and vibe. Here are a few red flags that lead to rejection:

1️⃣ ‘Can you slash your prices?’ Sorry, my rates reflect my experience and the quality you deserve. I offer various packages to suit budgets.

2️⃣ ‘Can you Photoshop me?’ No, I prioritize authenticity over altering reality. AI tools enhance, not transform.

3️⃣ ‘Another photographer is cheaper and faster.’ That’s fine. I’m not for everyone. Quality and fair compensation matter more than undercutting competition or cutting corners.
