My workspace is coming together and allows me to focus and work with some nice gear. The lava lamp is a favorite...really sets the mood..lol.
One of the fun things I get to do here at Full Sail University is getting the opportunity to work with Rollins Music students and Full Sail Students in recording various projects. The sessions range from String ensembles to Jazz bands to big Choral arrangements. You can hear some of the projects at the Rollins Music Department YouTube channel.
Pushing ahead and making way for the future, I have set up my pros and chose ASCAP. I will use it as both writer and publisher with New Wind Productions being my publishing name. Glad to be moving in the direction I should have been heading 40 years ago.. Thanks for sharing the journey with me.

Part of my goal with New Wind Productions is to continue learning about my craft and my industry. This week I am attending a conference related to sync licensing music for ads, tv and film. It is great to hear from music supervisors and those in charge of placements. Great info from the morning panelists and more to come. Thank you to Catch the Moon music and Cathy Heller for putting on a great event.
One of the recent additions to the studio is the new Antelope Discrete 8 Synergy Core interface. There was a bit of a struggle to get it up and running properly. Since it has been installed correctly, I have had no issues and it sounds great. I would say it is an improvement over my Focusrite. The plugins that come with it are solid and are a great addition to the sound I can achive in my space.

Alli Myers was a member of Tall Tree and 10 years later she was ready to work on an album of her own. I was so grateful that she contacted me to help pull together the project. The band that I am most closely linked to over the years is GLAD. We spent 3 years in the studio and about 14 years on the road together.
