I’m embarrassed to say, I haven’t gone on a real run since October 😅 ..all for good reason though. I was dealing with back and hip issues from service connected injuries I still have to baby sit from being in the military. Over the past 4mo I worked on other body goals which have strengthened to to the point where I’m at least able to run intervals this morning with minimal pain (I’m ALWAYS in pain, been this way for years 🙃)
The best part about returning to something you love but haven’t done in a while, is you get to enjoy it with the same eagerness you once had in the beginning. As long as my stride is always solid and my pace is still strong af.. I’m hyped!! Got a few things lined up for this summer.. but first I’ve gotta get my run back to its greatness 🤩😜hehe
