This was during my first open water training a few weeks back and I was able to reach 10m during free immersion. Had trouble equalizing at first but here it was my mind that took over since it was starting to get dark 😂.
Year 29, Highly Favored!
This is it, 29, the final trip of my 20s before I step into 30. Honestly, it’s not where I expected myself to be but I trust God’s plan is way better than mine.
They say that your 20s is the stage in your life that you figure out what you really want to do with your life, you have a lot of these plans mapped out and I guess most of you would agree when I say that, Most of these plans despite the effort we put into it does not really translate in reality based on our expectations. And don’t feel bad or discouraged because that is totally fine.
Because we don’t stop figuring ourselves, I will repeat that “WE DON’T STOP FIGURING OURSELVES”. I could not keep count of how many times I thought that a specific something is for me only to realize that it’s not what I really want or to accept that it’s not for me. And that is okay, that is the process, with experience comes wisdom, and with wisdom comes better decisions. We can’t blindly focus solely on the things we want for ourselves when God is working to redirect us for the best path He has for us. So yeah, don’t just simply trust the process, trust God’s process.
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” — Prov 16:3

The unexpected adventure on the last day of 2023!
So this was a mini adventure I had last night.
For context, the city of Ras Al Khaimah hosts an annual fireworks display and each year breaks their own record in the Guinness world record for the ‘Longest chain of aquatic floating fireworks’ for a grand total of 5.8km and the 'Longest straight-line drones display’ for a total length of 2km.
Now I am currently based and residing in Dubai but for the weekend spent it in RAK to be with my mom who is currently based in the city. Couldn’t be with her to approach the year tho since she’s gonna be on duty. So my plan was to spend the weekend with her and to attend the fireworks display at night with my CCF Dubai fam in which they were able to find a spot on the site coz they went earlier, I would rendezvous with them at sun down.
So from our house to the venue was about 29kms. And since I dont have a ride yet of my own I had to commute. Called in a cab and was on my way at around 6pm. I knew there was gonna be a traffic but oh boy did I not expect road closures 😂. So the E11 route was not possible and we have to take the E311 route. And this is where my adventure begins. The E311 road is a highway on a desert! Haha I expected that we are gonna be in traffic and it is really gonna be costly on the cab meter soo I asked the driver to drop me off on the nearest possible spot and coz I decided that I am gonna walk 😂. There was 13kms left and this was at 7pm already. If you are wondering why I couldn’t call my friends to pick up haha once you leave the area you are gonna have a hard time going back and since I was late, this was on me to find a solution haha. I told to myself that 13kms aint that bad, I used to run marathons so what’s 13kms 😂😂😂.
As I walked the first 500m I begin to question my decison HAHAHA. I was on a desert freeway with a backpack walking! But I was enjoying the moment haha. Okay now fast forward. 3kms in I was telling myself that I have 10 kms left and this would take around 2hrs! Haha I would just be in time for the fireworks hahaha. But then what happened next was a miracle! Haha I prayed, “ Lord, with all of these cars passing, please let one of them be a good samaritan and offer me a ride” haha although the traffic was really heavy, the cars were still moving at a slow pace so. Then after a few minutes one car honked at me it was a sedan with a group of friends who were from Pakistan, they driver asked why I dont have a car haha, then he offered a seat since there was one spot left, without hesitation I agreed! HAHAHA
They were fun to be with on the ride and tho I do not promote irresponsible drivers, I did enjoy the ride since the driver cut through traffic by driving on the sides HAHAHA this made our trip wayyy faster than it should’ve been. (You guys may refer to the pics and vid below)
Now I reached the camp site haha they dropped me off the nearest point and I was so happy, I didn’t expect that to happen haha and as I approach my friends, I can’t believe I made it! Hahaha
Then the night was spent eating, singing karaoke, and playing cards while we wait for the fireworks. Also slept on a tent after the show since we decided to let the traffic pass before we hit the road back to Dubai!
Soo yeah haha just sharing this mini adventure of mine as 2023 ends and 2024 starts.
Sooo grateful that God didn’t abandon me 🤍 Glory to God!!!
Happy New Year, Everyone! Live strong!!

Yannah Hits The Mark! A Civil Wedding Cinematic. When Mark said that he would be getting married, I was happy for him. He also asked me to attend their civil wedding and take photos and vids. Of course I agreed. Upon reaching the venue, I was kinda amazed since it was creatively set. Then they mentioned that Yannah and Mark DIYd their wedding venue. Imagine that! Kahit civil wedding siya they still put in the work to make it a creative venue marking their special day. Again, Cheers!
