Gaming4Good are pleased to announce the completion of the first round of our annual charitable donations. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated in our events, fundraising and raffles we have been able to donate £175 each to four local charities chosen by our community; SSAFA, Imara, Nottingham LGBT+ network and Nottingham Trans Hub!

**Important Announcement from Gaming4Good**

At Gaming4Good, our mission is to ensure that all our events are held in safe and inclusive spaces. Recently, the trustees have received information indicating that Leadbelt Gaming Arena is in violation of this fundamental principle. Specifically, the continued presence and business association of a convicted s*x offender within their volunteer and management structure makes Leadbelt Gaming Arena an unsafe environment in our view.

As a result, we are immediately ending all association and promotion of Leadbelt Gaming Arena as a venue for any of our events. We strongly recommend that you consider alternative venues for your gaming activities.

We will announce a new venue for our monthly gaming night shortly. We appreciate your understanding and support in this matter, and we remain committed to providing a safe space for you to enjoy our events and your hobby.

At Gaming4Good we want to reiterate our commitment to supporting the rights and inclusion of the trans, non-binary, and gender diverse communities at our events. On 31st March to celebrate Transgender day of Visibility the board of trustees signed a pledge to . The pledge calls upon charities to ensure that they are, and must remain, a safe place for all trans and non-binary people.

We believe that as a group of wargamers and hobbyist we have an important role to play in helping to shape the fibre of our hobby communities both now and in the future.

Attacks on charities, hobbyist, games companies, gaming spaces etc that support trans inclusion are accelerating, and over the past months we have seen one after another attacked for explicitly supporting trans inclusion in their Pride messaging. Not to mention the very prevalent hateful and transphobic language in some online wargaming hobby message boards. We stand united together against this hate and offer support whenever any of us are subjected to an attack by the transphobic movement, especially within our events and online spaces.

Gaming4Good is committed to providing diverse, inclusive and safe spaces at our events, and we are determined to stand alongside trans and non-binary people now and will remain here for all trans and non-binary people in the future.

Good afternoon all!
A brief update on bits with important news. Last night we had our EGM and I am pleased to announce we have formed as a charity officially (unincorporated association). A digital copy of the constitution and bye-laws will be shared soon for all individuals to peruse.

I'm also pleased to announce the following as our trustees:

Once the Charities accounts are officially opened a request for membership dues will go out to all current members of our Facebook group, as well as to any attendees of our events, after 1 month from today it will be required to have an active membership to take part in our events; but I am pleased to share that the membership is £1 per year!

As well as this we have our Path to Glory campaign starting today, details to be found on the discord server.

Good afternoon all!

As you may have seen we have undergone a bit of a rebrand from being "DylanDoesWargames"! This has come about due to the hardwork of the new Gaming4Good Team, who will be working with me to help curate the best local community we can for hobby.

In addition to this we have a few new projects either starting now or planned for the near future! I would therefore like to announce the first two of these:

1. We have started a Patreon! This is a place for people to join us as paid members, and in return receive a variety of benefits whilst knowing that all money made from the Patreon will be given to our yearly chosen charity. 2. We are writing our own RPG (I know, bit of a bandwagon lately isn't it?). It will be a rules-light dungeon based roleplay game, it will involve random dungeons and the goal of creating personal mementos from each of your adventures. If you would like to hear more, members of our Patreon will see content in advance, get the opportunity to beta-test our games and will receive a discount on purchases when the game is released! Otherwise, stay tuned and extracts and playtest photos will be released in the future!

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me in my various endeavours with DDW over the years, we have so far raised almost £4000 and I hope to continue that with these items; as well as our usual yearly event which will have details released soon.

As many of you will know, I am running 24HR Charity Lock-in for JUNO Women's Aid. This weekend!

So dump of info time!
This fundraiser is in support of JUNO Women's Aid, the largest women's aid organisation outside of London. We are locking ourselves into the Forest Fields scouts hall and running various games for 24hrs!

Hello all!
At DylanDoesWargames we believe war and conflict should remain in the fantasy universes of our games. The news over the last 3 weeks has been troubling and harrowing to watch. As such we are looking to raise money for those that ease the suffering of those in this conflict and, to do this we are looking to host a wargames event at the end of April. We are currently investigating venues and dates, but we would like to keep everyone informed, and as such have created the following form for people to express their interest and consent to being messaged about it in the future:

Entry price (all of which will be donated to Red Cross) is still being investigated, but current plan is £10 for the day.
Our current premise is linked games of 40k, Kill Team and Aeronautica. You need not play all three systems, can just join in for one or two if you wish. All participants will be grouped into two teams, those looking to preserve the planet at the centre of the conflict and those that wish to capture or destroy it. Each game earns pts for your team and can generate strategic bonuses (unique stratagems, re-rolls, specific terrain etc).
