The other day, we were walking down the sidewalk when a stranger smiled and said, “Hi.”

Before they could take another step, my kid lit up like Christmas morning and proceeded to give a full dissertation on the ENTIRE Marvel Cinematic Universe.

No hesitation.

No context.

Just pure, unapologetic enthusiasm for all things Avengers.

💥 The order of the movies? Explained.

💥 Why Iron Man is the best one? Defended with passion.

💥 The science behind how Thor’s hammer works? Debated like it was life or death.

Did the stranger ask for this? No.

Did my kid care?

Also no.

Because when they love something, they assume you will, too.

📌 Imagine if you sold your offer the same way.

If you:

❌ Hold back because you don’t want to “bother people”

❌ Mention your offer once and assume everyone saw it

❌ Quietly hope people just know how great your offer is
…you’re missing out on sales.

Your offer deserves the same hype and excitement your kid gives their favorite movie.

Talk about it.

Often.
Loudly.
Unapologetically.

Because the people who need it?

They want to hear about it.

Drop a 🔥 in the comments if you’re ready to sell like your kid explaining Avengers to an innocent bystander. 😆🔥

If promoting your offer feels like pulling teeth, we need to talk.

You cannot fake excitement for something that doesn’t light you up.

If your business feels like a slog, if showing up to sell feels meh, or if you’re just going through the motions, your audience can feel it.

And spoiler: they’re not buying.

The good news?

You don’t have to burn it all down and start over.

Sometimes, a small tweak (or a full-blown pivot) is all it takes to get that spark back.

This week on Mompreneur Mastery, I sat down with to talk about how to tell when your business needs a shift, why forcing offers you don’t love never works, and how to make your business feel good again.

Hit the link in my bio to listen ( .yours.strategist ), and tell me, have you ever made a big shift in your business? Spill the tea 👀☕

Sorry, random internet man, but my underperforming post made me $300. How much did your opinion make you?’ 🤷‍♀️💅

If a ‘meh’ post can bring in sales, imagine what a solid strategy can do.

And right now, you can grab my 5 Steps to Strategy training for just $47 (until Thursday!).

Because unsolicited advice is free, but a strategy that actually works?

That’s what pays. 👏

I’ll be honest, it feels weird to post anything business-related today.

I took yesterday off but still, sharing about the latest IG updates or what sized posts to create doesn’t feel right when so many people are facing a deeply uncertain and potentially dangerous future.

My heart is with everyone who’s feeling scared, angry, or unsure about what comes next.

If you’re a fellow online business owners who believes in equity and inclusivity, and are playing "F*** DJT" on repeat while plotting ways to thrive despite it all, let’s be friends.

There’s a lot of good we can do when we stick together.

To everyone feeling the weight of this moment: I see you. I stand with you.

Are trends fun? Yes.

Do we spend too much time scrolling through them when maybe we should be doing something actually productive??

Idk, maybe that one is just me.

BUT not every trend is your friend.

Trends alone does not a strategy make.

The reel (see what I did there?) magic happens when:

✨ You choose trends that aligns with your brand AND your audience

✨ You align your reel with your overall strategy for sales

Not sure how to do that?

I explain it all in episode 71 of Mompreneur Mastery

Grab it at the link in my bio or comment "PODCAST" below and I'll send it to you

Things I’d rather do than waste time on tactics that don’t actually help my business:

-take all 3 of my kids to a crowded Costco

-clean all 4 bathrooms in my house with a toothbrush

-go without coffee for a week

Okay that last one was extreme. Maybe a day or two.

I’m at a point in my life where I simply cannot spend time I do not have on s**t I don’t know will work.

I break down what that is going to look like for business and Instagram, given the trends and new features in episode 70 of Mompreneur Mastery.

Listen at the link in my bio or comment “PODCAST” below and I’ll send it to you so you have something to listen to in your headphones when you need to block out your kids loud noises

The only way I get everything done that I need to (other than that sink of dirty dishes I’m pretending doesn’t exist) is by planning ahead.

And it’s not just for my sanity

It’s the secret to a cohesive Instagram strategy that actually drives sales.

Planning ahead doesn’t just save me stress, it saves me HOURS every single week.

That’s exactly what I’ll teach you in my free 5-day private podcast challenge: Plan it, Post it, Profit.

In just five days, I’ll help you:
✨ Create a 1-month content plan that fits your goals (and your life).
✨ Know exactly what to post—and why.
✨ Build a strategy that connects with your audience and makes sales.

And because I know you're busy, it's broken down into bite-sized episodes you can do in the mom cracks of your day in a workbook that you can use and reuse.

We’re starting January 6th, so you can actually take a breath after the holidays before jumping back into business mode.

Ready to stop scrambling and start showing up with confidence? Sign up at the link in my bio or comment "PLAN" in the comments and I'll send it to you.

Let’s make Instagram simple and effective so we can get back to what's important: trying not to drown in a pile of laundry that's probably going to take over the house.

Running a business while raising three kids under five taught me one thing: simplicity is key.

If it’s overcomplicated, overwhelming, or pulling you away from what really matters, it’s not going to work long-term. That’s why I’ve always leaned on strategies that fit into my life, not take it over.

That same clarity and focus is what makes Instagram work for your business. When you know your audience, have a plan, and show up with purpose, you don’t need to spend hours online to see results.

I'm giving away the exact framework that saves my time and sanity inside the Plan it, Post it, Profit challenge starting on 1/6.

Inside the free 5-day challenge, I’ll teach you how to:
✅ Build a content plan that connects with your audience.
✅ Guide followers through a journey that leads to sales.
✅ Simplify your Instagram strategy so it works for your life.

By the end, you’ll have a month of content ready to go—no fluff, no wasted time, just a plan that works.

Sign up at the link in my bio or comment "PLAN" below and I'll DM it to you so it's there when you get a mom break.

I used to dread brainstorming Instagram content.

Like, new posts almost every day?! No, thank you. I don't have time for that.

Every time I sat down to post, it felt like a guessing game. What do I say?

What can I post that people will actually comment on or buy from?

And let’s be honest—most of my ideas were inspired by scrolling through other accounts and trying to piece something together for my business.

Spoiler: That doesn’t work.

What does? Having a plan that’s tailored to your business and actually guides your audience toward buying.

That’s exactly what my 5-day private podcast challenge helps you do.

By the end, you’ll have a month of content ready to go—a plan that connects with your audience, saves you time, and drives sales without the stress.

If you’re ready to stop guessing and have a plan that actually leads to sales, WHILE saving time on IG, comment "plan" and I'll send you the sign up link.

Because your time is too valuable to waste on random posts that don’t work.

If your holidays look anything like mine, it’s a whirlwind of gift lists, dodging Amazon boxes, and trying to remember where the elf was last night
(okay, we don’t do the elf because I’m lazy, but kudos to you if you do).

And that’s because, as online business owners, we’re often living the same chaos as our audience.

We get the juggling act they’re doing—because we’re doing it too.

Which is why now, more than ever, our content has the power to resonate deeply and make a real connection.

So what can you post this week to acknowledge the overwhelm and cut through the noise?

Maybe it’s a funny holiday fail, a quick word of encouragement, or a reminder that it’s okay if the cookies burned and the gifts aren’t perfectly wrapped.

Connection posts like these help you stand out in a sea of endless ads and sales.

These are exactly the kinds of post prompts I sent to my Content Clarity Collective members for this week—crafted to make showing up simple and meaningful, even during the busiest season.

Want ideas to connect with your audience without the stress?

Your audience is hiding from the holiday chaos with their phone in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, trying to catch a break from the madness.

That’s exactly why showing up now matters.

The holidays are chaos, but Instagram doesn’t have to be.

When you show up intentionally, you’ll build trust and connection that makes your audience remember you long after the gift wrap settles and the elf gets shoved back in the attic.

And the best part?

These posts are quick and easy, so you can stay visible without losing your mind.

Episode 69 of Mompreneur Mastery breaks it all down:

-The 3 types of posts you actually need (+examples)

-Why they work

-How to create them without losing your mind

Listen at the link in my bio.

Btw, does your family do elf on the shelf? We don't because I'm way too lazy but I keep seeing people's set ups and scenes and they look great!

Here’s your permission to let go of perfect this holiday season.

Between:
-hiding the elf for the 12th time
-dodging the Amazon delivery guy so the kids don’t see
-and the endless gift-wrapping pile taking over your dining table...

no one’s looking for perfectly polished posts or flawlessly edited reels—they just need you.

This week in your content, keep it simple: share a quick snapshot of your chaos or drop a little reminder your audience needs to hear.

Maybe it’s the cookies that somehow burnt and stayed raw at the same time, or a “you’ve got this” to brighten someone’s day during a chaotic, and sometimes hard time of year.

If you’re wondering how to keep up with Instagram without losing your mind, I’ve got you!

The latest episode of Mompreneur Mastery shares 3 types of posts that are quick, easy, and actually work.

Give it a listen at the link in my bio and start showing up with intention—not perfection.

I've been hearing that a lot of mompreneurs saying they know they need a plan for their posts, they know they need a strategy...

But that doesn't mean they have the TIME to do it.

But what if I told you there is a way you can get sales from IG without taking the hours each week to map all that out in your content?

The dream, amiright?!

That's why I made Content Clarity Collective.

Weekly, strategized post prompts in your inbox so you know exactly what to post to have a content plan that leads to sales, without having to take the time to study what's on trend or what IG is updating this week.

I do all that for you!

If that's something you want, you need to check out Content Clarity Collective so that you can get the strategy you need for sales on Instagram without wasting your precious time planning and following trends.

Comment "CONTENT" and I'll DM you the link to get in the collective for ONLY $17/month

But hurry! Sale ends tonight at midnight! Then the price goes back up to 37/month.

I’m interested to see how this plays out:

👉 Will Trial Reels help my content reach the right audience—or just random people who’ll never buy?

👉 If followers don’t see the Trial Reel, does that hurt engagement later?

👉 Does this mean regular Reels won’t get as much reach as before?

What do you think? Are you excited to try this, or do you just want Instagram to make it easier to reach your audience?

Instagram isn’t just an app. For me, it was a lifeline.

Before I started a business, I was a new mom battling PPD, moving constantly, and feeling completely disconnected. Social anxiety made building new support systems in new states feel impossible.

So, I turned to Instagram—not to share, but to search.

I found other moms who got it. Women who weren’t afraid to talk about the hard stuff. Their posts, their words, their stories—it all reminded me I wasn’t alone.

It wasn’t just scrolling anymore—it was connection.

It was community.

It was survival on the days I didn’t have the strength to reach out face-to-face.

Now, as a mompreneur, that sense of connection still drives me.

Showing up here isn’t just about strategy or sales.

It’s about finding my people and building a space where we can all show up, share, and support each other.

Because in the chaos of life and business, this place can be so much more than just an app.

It can be exactly what we need.

If you're searching for your people here, know that they’re searching for you too.

04/12/2024

On one hand, it’s supposed to celebrate moms who are running businesses and households, because there's a ton that goes into both of those things.

I use for SEO and relatability—it’s a term people search for and connect with

But on the other hand... it sounds cutesy and doesn’t quite do justice to the reality of what moms are juggling. And where’s the equivalent term for dads??

Because let’s be real—statistically speaking, women do nearly 80% of unpaid household and caregiving work in heteronormative relationships.

Add the bulk of emotional labor, parenting, housework to running and growing a business. That’s not "cute". It’s fu***ng exhausting.

And that’s why I aim to help mompreneurs specifically.

Moms aren’t just running businesses—they’re doing it on a time crunch, with fewer resources, and while carrying the mental load of everything else.

So while I get the intention, I can’t help but feel like “mompreneur” kind of diminishes the sheer badassery of what we are actually doing.

What do you think—yea or nay on “mompreneur”?
