Feeling Bloated After Meals?
25% of Americans report feeling bloated after they finish a meal. It is a fairly common symptom for people to experience, but does that make it normal? Not really, so what is the cause?
• Food Sensitivities/Intolerances

Here are some interesting facts about how Thanksgiving can impact us long after the dishes are done:

The average American consumes 3,000-4,500 calories and 220 grams of fat at their Thanksgiving meal.

•Most people report an average weight gain of 2-4 pounds on Black Friday

•Over-indulging over the holidays can lead to yo-yo dieting in an attempt to drop the extra pounds

• A study of 3000 participants showed that people start gaining weight around Thanksgiving, peaking at New Years…..and that weight can take 5 months or more to get rid of!

Vitamin D is so important for a healthy immune response. Most people don’t have optimal Vitamin D levels and many don’t know what their levels are. We can get vitamin D from some food sources like salmon, egg yolks and milk (dairy and non-dairy). However, the greatest source is the sun. When’s the last time you checked your levels?
