As most of you might have noticed our CSX Cumberland feed has been down for awhile now, this is due to our host moving from the area. If you know someone that would like to host a Cumberland feed please contact us and we can discuss that further.

Thanks for your continued support.

Our newest feed the "CSX Cumberland Terminal and Surrounding Areas" feed is in need of a new radio, recently, the current radio is starting to fail, and provides an ear-piercing noise to the listener on our Broadcastify page.

Radios come with a cost, and with the national chip shortage, radio prices have sky-rocketed. Now a new radio will cost around $300. Some assistance via a GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated to support the cost of getting a new radio and maintaining the systems at our Cumberland location.

Not sure if anyone’s interested is how the feed works, but here are a few pictures of the setup.

I run a Uniden BC355N as the base scanner (being replaced by a Uniden BCT15X) paired with a Raspberry Pi. I used LMR400 low loss Coaxial cable as my radio line, and a Laird Technologies antenna.

I control the feed via Raspberry Pi, and can remotely connect to the Pi from my personal computer to resolve any problems with it.

Hey everyone, I’m pleased to say that the feed is back online. However the annoying background noise is still there, I ordered a new scanner to fix the problem. This is really effecting the cost of things, if you can please donate to the GoFundMe to keep the feed running strong. https://gofund.me/04d4e9bb
