I have the best news ever. I drove over to the coast with McFlurry today for a meet and greet. It went well. They adopted her and she’ll be living at the coast with her new puppy pal 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

GRACE (1204403) Female, 3 years, 55 pounds, Homeless since JUNE 15TH!

Her puppies have been adopted, but Grace has been left behind. This happens way too often with loving mama dogs like Grace. She's affectionate, but not over-affectionate. No need to worry about her being hyper and jumpy! She's easygoing and mellow. She's had many canine roommates as well! If you're dog gets along with other dogs, Grace would love to meet them!

But since she's been at the shelter longer than most, time is of the essence! On a 1 to 5 scale of urgency, Grace is at least a 4. She needs help ASAP.

*SHORT TERM FOSTER NEEDED* 7/9-713

Hey all, meet Corky. The cutest little low rider you’ll ever see. He has an adopter up in Washington (who has saved 3 other dogs from the euthanasia list). Corky’s ride to WA will pick him up Saturday, 7/13. However, Mr. Corky needs to leave the shelter after his neuter, Tuesday 7/9.

Can anyone house him until he’s ready to go home?? I will grab Corky from you on Saturday 7/13 and take him to his transport.

UPDATE: she was picked up by a wonderful human!!!

This sweet girl is located at 501 Taft Hwy. she’s been camping out at an acquaintance’s office. The dog likes to hang out in the flower bed. The man cannot bring her home due to his other dog being very territorial (no training advice needed).

The man has been giving her food and water. She’s thin and very gentle and sweet. He has not witnessed her with other dogs so it is unknown how she behaves with them.

It’s about to be unbearably hot and they are hoping somebody can take her in. They would really love for a rescue to take her.

Please let me know if you’re interested. I can get you in contact with the person that has been helping her!

I’m sure many of you know I’ve been working hard for Josie (fka Cranky). Denise Lynn Smith introduced me to this lovely gal and it’s been important for me to find her a place. With the help of Companion Animal Protection Society and some amazing KCAS fosters up in Tehachapi, we were able to make it happen! Beautiful Josie girl is now safe in foster. This was truly a team effort and I appreciate everyone who shared this girl and helped me make it a reality! 🖤🖤🖤
