As today closes out 2021, I wanted to share a few things. I always want to make mention of how appreciative I am of those that went out of their way for myself, my family, and for Michael this year. Some of you do not know us well, and yet you stepped up when we needed you to do so. This will always be a fact I shall never forget. It has been an immensely painful and polarizing year for many of us, and my own family has felt serious struggles. As of now, my children are slowly finding some form of serenity, despite the darker times. I am not so fortunate.

For over forty five years, my one dream was to be a writer. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been published as often as I have been, as well as to be able to publish the works of those unknown before now. I am so humbled that huge numbers of people have tuned in to my radio show to hear me do hundreds of interviews, and that they send me such high praise. The fact that you chose to spend your time tuning in to hear me is so flattering. I am particularly proud of my film festival, as I built that from scratch. As of today, I am still a one woman show who is blessed to have some brilliant volunteers to help back me up during the year. Looking back, I have some wonderful memories of the festival Michael and I built together. We were able to combine our love of black and white cinema with our real life love story. I have also been able to write some wonderful scripts that Michael was able to bring to life, as well as shoot a few films with him behind the camera. I consider my career somewhat successful because I am told I proved to be inspirational, motivational and moving to others; not just because my numbers are high. I find that this last accomplishment means more than anything. The fact that Michael chose to follow my career in all aspects made me fall in love with him even more. I never had to ask him to listen to the radio, read an article, or attend the festival - he did so on his own. Every time I wanted to quit, stop doing some part of my career, or give up - he was always there to both reassure me and remind me that I am much better than I believe. Through our making of films together, he attempted to convince me that I am actually a good actress - but I beg to differ. I was only decent because I had such a damn good actor next to me on screen. He was also always there whenever I did on-camera interviews, as I am constantly terrified and timid when it comes to being in front of the camera. I had to have him somewhere in the corner of my eye, as he brought me a sense of courage I had not possessed prior to meeting him.

Over the last month since his passing, I have had time to sit in silence and decide what I am going to do about my personal and professional life. I realize that should I decide to throw my entire career away, that my Michael would hate this idea. However, for now, my mourning requires that I make some concrete changes. I can say that I will be removing almost all of my professional pages once I post my future intentions. My presence on social media will be basically non-existent, so people will actually have to either see me or speak to me on a phone or via Zoom. If someone does not have my contact information, you have until Sunday to reach out before I delete anything. Finally, I know that others are well intended in wanting to send me well wishes for the New Year. However, the idea of starting 2022 with the love of my life not joining me is not something I want a reminder of today.

Thanks for everything.

On December 2, 2021 at 1:10pm, I hugged, held and kissed the love of my life goodbye for the last time. He has taken all of me with him. He was my rock and my real life cheerleader, and now he is gone. I am unsure that I will continue most of my career, and it will be months before I make that call.

Feeling devastated.

Its been some time since my last update, but that is because much has happened. My better half was diagnosed with Stage 4 Large B Cell Lymphoma, and we have been dealing with this since April. At present, he is still in treatment. Being a primary caregiver to a cancer patient means that my life has changed in many ways - including what my priorities are for now. My magazine has been on hold for months until last month, and no radio shows for months now. I have not been able to finish my TV series or film, and I can not start hosting my TV talk show for at least a month or more. My film festival is finally happening at month's end after three date changes.

After a long talk with my better half, it would appear that now is the time to get back to radio. Instead of doing my usual show which centers around arts/entertainment, I am going to change it to focus on issues mentioned on this page. The purpose of this show is to preserve the rights of others as it relates to expression - to offer a broadcast arena where one can speak without censorship. A place to conduct interviews with those in the community whose rights have been breached, or to find people who are passionate about preserving worldwide freedoms.

I have time to do one show this week (Tuesday), two the following and then starting in November, three a week. Each week, I will pick three different subjects to cover. For the show on Tuesday, I am seeking to find parents of school age or college children, or those who work in the school system, to be a guest on my program. I will need four or five total - and the subject is going to be discussing how these mandates are negatively impacting children, employees, education, and the future of students.

If you wish to be considered for an interview, or know someone who wants to be, reach out via email to [email protected].

Thanks.

A bit of background about me, aka Founder Cindy Mich..

I have spent twenty-five years as an award winning journalist and freelance writer, along with ten years as an on-air broadcaster. My fans and followers span across twenty states with a fifteen percent international following, and a total listening audience of 103,000 to date. I am the founder of the NYC based indie film festival, Art is Alive, and Co-Founder of Bedford Falls Film Festival, alongside NYC based SAG actor Michael Gentile. I perform the duties of a professional film judge, having screened over 700 films in the last few years, including for the illustrious AFI. I launched my digital publication, The Art is Alive Magazine, in December of 2020, and my TV pilot, Sonny and Trixie, is being distributed in February of 2021.

My new publication will publish interviews and insightful stories on all of these topics and more:

1. The benefits to not wearing a face covering, distancing or having a stay at home order. On the flip side, the damaging side effects from over wearing a covering, distancing, or being quarantined too long.

2. Stories of falsified death records, false positives, and trying to find those on record that will discuss how the medical profession makes money from a virus diagnosis/death.

3. Stories that center around the positives of the police.

4. Stories that support the right to bear arms and protect the life of the unborn.

5. Interviews with teachers that discuss the damaging effects that this virtual schooling is doing to students.

6. Interviews with small business owners, elderly, and children.

7. Stories that discuss how citizens are affected by the detrimental acts of their governors and health departments.

8. Interviews with lawmakers about how we as citizens can take action to get our cities out of this chaos.

9. Op-ed pieces by anyone who has views that want to share about former President Trump or the current administration.

10. Interviews with attorneys offering advice on how to file suits relative to school districts, health departments, etc.

11. Pieces that hold people accountable for bad behavior: examples include SAG, the teacher's unions, governors, CDC, the media, airlines, and so on. Any individual business charging dues, fees, tuition or room and board when not providing a service.

12. Stories that explain how cinema and art is dying faster from fear and panic than actual illness.

13. Interviews that deal with the Hunter Biden situation.

14. Interviews regarding how religious organizations/churches should be allowed to be open to celebrate and worship without restriction.
