One of the easiest things in life to do is exist. But we forget to live. I find myself spinning in life’s madness so often I forget to slow down and live. It doesn’t take much to make my kids happy. Mostly it’s food. Lol. Today I made our Sunday breakfast and I’m getting ready to install ceiling fans in our house. It may not seem like a day of rest but pouring back into my own home and my life at home is exactly what recharges me... so what’s for dinner on this rainy Sunday?

Currently on a TikTok break. Deleted the app from my phone and deactivated my page.. I do this every few months to check myself. It’s a reassurance that my life can revolve the same with or without it. It’s a chance for me to step back and look at my life without outside influence. Sometimes I get so caught up I find myself making decisions based on what my followers want instead of my own intuition. I currently have 2 project houses waiting for me to dive into them but I also have a mess at home. While it is tempting to dive in and start one of the houses and post videos about it .. I find it important to stop and assess my life completely. My driveway has potholes the size of Texas and my pool is full of Algae and I have 8 ceiling fans in storage waiting to be installed. Not to mention I currently have one shower line capped off because it was leaking. As they say a mechanics car is never fixed I guess the same goes for house flippers lol. I am taking a little time to get caught up on my life and me first before being present for the rest of the world. It’s a great power to be undeniably selfish sometimes. I spent a long time not knowing how to protect my mental health and well being but it’s truly one of my greatest achievements now.
