ILOILO CITY -- Gin-anunsyar ni Iloilo City COVID-19 Task Force Spokesperson Jeck Conlu nga ipaidalom sa surgical lockdown ang pila ka barangay sa Iloilo City bangud may masobra tatlo ka kaso sang COVID-19.

Masugod las-6 subong nga gab-i, ipatuman ang surgical lockdown

The Numancia Municipal Health Office officially announces its four (4) additional COVID-19 POSITIVE cases:

Case #6 is a 59 y/o female, now asymptomatic and is currently admitted at DRSTMH - Covid-19 Hospital Referral Facility. On September 8, 2020 swab specimen collection was obtained and sent to Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital - Department of Pathology, Molecular Laboratory for confirmatory test. Result was released September 13, 2020 with interpretation of SARS-COV-2 (causative agent of COVID-19) VIRAL RNA DETECTED.

Case #7 is a 23 y/o male who is a direct contact of a positive case. Swab specimen was obtained on September 9, 2020 and sent to Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital - Department of Pathology, Molecular Laboratory for confirmatory test. Result was released September 13, 2020 with interpretation of SARS-COV-2 (causative agent of COVID-19) VIRAL RNA DETECTED.

Case #8 is a 57 y/o female who is a direct contact of a positive case. Swab specimen was obtained on September 9, 2020 and sent to Dr. Rafael S. Case #9 is a 45 y/o female who is a direct contact of a positive case, symptomatic and is currently admitted at DRSTMH - Covid-19 Hospital Referral Facility. On September 8, 2020 swab specimen collection was obtained and sent to Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital - Department of Pathology, Molecular Laboratory for confirmatory test. Result was released September 13, 2020 with interpretation of SARS-COV-2 (causative agent of COVID-19) VIRAL RNA DETECTED.

The two other cases are on a strict quarantine at a Provincial Health Quarantine Facility.

Continuous monitoring and active surveillance on COVID-19 is ongoing in the entire Municipality of Numancia.
