Unique Ink is a student-lead press operating out of the Roosevelt High School Writing & Publishing Center in Portland, Oregon. Student publishers work closely with the community to publish regional work from the Pacific Northwest, and to enable youth and adult writers to raise their pens and raise their voices. With the guidance of Portland State University's Book Publishing graduate program and a

grant from State Farm's Youth Advisory Board, the students of Roosevelt High developed and launched their first book, WHERE THE ROSES SMELL THE BEST: A LITERARY COMPANION TO PORTLAND, available now at Powell's Books, MadeHere PDX, Tender Loving Empire, and Broadway Books.
