Hello Everyone!! Branson here...

Thank you so much to all of you who have been tuning in and listening to this audio drama. It has been an absolute joy to write and produce, and the people who have come together to help make it a reality have been amazing. I had no idea a little idea in my head could become something like this.

As this is my first audio drama to write and produce, I've had some huge lessons that I've had to learn. I had absolutely no idea what went into making an audio drama, and the amount of work it takes to put one on is humbling. Getting episodes out once a month is a beast of a task to complete, a beast that is especially difficult to conquer during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I wanted to take some time to let you know a couple of things. First, we're taking a season break to get caught up. Trying to write scripts, edit audio, and post episodes on the various platforms are proving to be more than I can handle at once. So, to make things more manageable, I'm breaking them off into chunks. As such, there will be a few months of no new episodes while I get caught up with things. Don't worry...work is happening!! And the hope is that by taking the time to do things right, the end result will be the kind of quality you want in an audio drama.

Second, be assured, Gospel by Gaslight WILL CONTINUE. I have plots lined out for an entire season of episodes and voice actors ready to show off their skills in bringing these characters to life. It's going to happen. I don't want a season of no new posts to cause concern. I'll try to make it a point to post updates here. But rest assured, Gospel By Gaslight is far from over.

Third, and this is more of a request, please pray for me and the team of voice actors that have lent their talents to this project. I want to produce something that is, first and foremost, God-glorifying, and also something that is entertaining. I know the only way that happens is if the Holy Spirit is at work while scripts are being written and audio is recorded. I want God's fingerprint on this project to be so obvious that people can feel the difference when they listen. Your support in prayer will be a huge blessing in achieving that end.

Appreciation Post...

This morning I was excited to learn that Gospel By Gaslight has gone international!! We officially have listeners outside of the United States!!

First of all, Glory to God that He chose to bless a fledgling audio drama podcast. This is about making His name great, and any recognition we receive goes straight to Him.

Secondly, GBG would not even exist if it weren't for the wonderful cast members who are willing to lend their voices to this podcast. Many of them are professionals with other projects they could have been working on, but they chose to take the time to invest in this, and I am eternally grateful. A huge thank you to Kevin Joshua Burnham of The Dapper Man , Celeste Mora of The Voices of Celeste Mora , Dallas Mora of Geek Devotions , John Harju of Playing Games with Strangers , and Drew Dodgen of The Cel Cast Podcast .
