EID-EL-FITR: CHAIRPERSON, NORTHERN GOVERNOR'S WIVES FORUM AND FIRST LADY OF GOMBE STATE,ASMA'U INUWA YAHAYA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS ON THE 2024 EID EL FITR SALLAH CELEBRATION.

The chairperson of Northern governor's wives forum and the first lady of gombe state, Asma'u Inuwa Yahaya has congratulated the Muslim community as they celebrate another Eid-el-Fitr to mark the end of the month-long 2024 Ramadan fast.

In a statement released to newsmen,the governor's wife urged the Muslim community in gombe state and Nigeria as a whole to maintain their prayers for peace and unity in the state and the country beyond the holy month of Ramadan.

"Eid-ul-Fitr, also known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and is a time of celebration and gratitude for the successful completion of the month-long fasts that find its origins in the early years of Islam when the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh), who received the revelations of the Quran, taught his followers about its importance.

The governor's wife encouraged mothers to take good care of their children during the festive period and beyond.

"As we celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, let's remember to be grateful for the blessings in our lives and spread joy to those around us.
Eid Mubarak!"

Gombe State First Lady rejoices with Muslims worldwide as they celebrate Eid-il-Adha ,

…encourages selflessness,sacrifice and support for one another, coexist peacefully,improves unity of purpose and development.

In the spirit of the season, the Gombe State First Lady , Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, is rejoicing with the muslim ummah across the globe, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-il-Adha, which is an annual festival of sacrifice and selfless service to the commandments of the Almighty.

First lady Asma’u Yahaya in her Sallah message, showed particular concern for women, youths and children who are the backbone and strong pillars of a nation’s economic growth and development, to be caring and supportive towards each other as well as be more security conscious throughout the period of the celebrations.

“ with the daunting challenges of life, i urge my muslim brothers and sisters, to extend their hands of fellowship and help the poor/needy in the society,beginning with our neighbors who are our first point of call in our joyous or sorrow moments. Imbibe the spirit of obedience and sacrifice as exemplified by prophets Ibrahim and Isma’il (May the blessings of ALLAH be upon them),that earned them ALLAH’s blessings and kindness that hitherto descend on us as followers….Dr. Asma’u “.

She emphasized on the need to go back to the drawing board in order to improve our piety and seek ALLAH’s forgiveness and repent from our sins that engulfed the world today, which requires His mercies.

The First Lady then prayed for ALLAH’s guidance ,protection and support for women , especially our children and youths to shun all evil acts and become responsible, committed and trustworthy leaders of our dear country - Nigeria, now and in the future.

.as Muslim Ummah celebrate SALLAH ,a season of sacrifice, caring and sharing, forgiveness and togetherness, for peace/growth and development.

Gombe State First Lady,Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, has called on Muslim faithful especially Gwambawa , to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir by being kind to one another, through caring and sharing the sacrificial meat with the less privileged and let the joy go round.

The First Lady made the call in a Sallah message, to rejoice with Muslims worldwide in marking this year’s Eid-el-Adha festival,as they perform one of the religious rites(animal sacrifice),praying and seeking for ALLAH’s forgiveness in order to begin the new islamic year on a clean slate.These,the first lady added,that it is by giving to the needy no matter how little, thereby putting smiles on their faces on this feast day, that God gives you joy , contentment and replenishes ones wealth.

Dr.Asma’u Inuwa also appreciated Gombe state women, for being resolute in the pursuit of their socioeconomic goals, to support their families as well as contribute to the growth and development of not only Gombe state, but Nigeria as a whole. “I am thrilled to see your potentials as better managers of homes and your doggedness to becoming economically empowered and self reliant , thus my resolve to continue working together and supporting you achieve such educational and socioeconomic skills/ potentials fully deserved”.

It is worthy for me to thank and appreciate my dear husband, governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for giving our women, who are great assets of development ,a level playing field,to realize their dreams and contribute to nation building.

She then in the spirit of the season, appealed to all and sundry to team up, support and embrace each other through thick and thin,so that together, we can achieve our common goals in fighting moral decadence,financial and social insecurity in our homes, communities, states and the country at large.

Wife of Gombe State Governor, Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, is among the first batch of 505 pilgrims airlifted to perform the 2022 hajj,
..Urges pilgrims especially women , to exhibit high sense of tolerance,
patience and commitment, perform acceptable ritual ,be good ambassadors of the state,
..pray fervently for Nigeria’s peace and security.

Gombe State first lady , Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya along side the 505 1st batch of Gombe State pilgrims were airlifted on board MaxAir to Saudi Arabia, for the 2022 hajj operation.

Addressing the media shortly before boarding the plane, the governor’s wife, expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the pilgrims throughout the screening period and urged them to maintain same at the holy land in order to project a good image of Gombe State and by extension, become worthy ambassadors of the country.

“Today, Gombe State is widely known for being relatively peaceful and its hospitality makes it a safe haven to many. I therefore called on our esteemed pilgrims to rededicate their devotions to ALLAH in the holy land,by praying for his forgiveness and to restore peace and security in Nigeria, in order for us as a people, to be able to sustain the already existing peace and tranquility in the state....Gombe State First Lady “.

The Chairman of the Muslims Pilgrims Board,who is the emir of Dukku, Alhaji Haruna Abdulkadir Rashid II,said , so far so good, he gives glory to ALLAH for making them strong as a team ,committed and dedicated towards discharging their responsibilities against all odds, thereby appealing to the pilgrims to give the state , national and Saudi hajj officials the Maximum cooperation needed for a successful hajj operation .

Some of the pilgrims expressed content with the services rendered to them and thanked ALLAH for being part of this year’s pilgrimage, assuring to pray for the safe and unity of Gombe State and the Nigerian nation.

The pilgrims have arrived Madinatul Muauwara safely, signaling the beginning of their holy Journey.

Democracy Day Celebration; encouraging governments to Strengthen and consolidate democracy.

Gombe State First Lady , Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, has called on Women to use the occasion of Democracy Day,as home managers in supporting and praying for the wellbeing of their husbands,children and the people in their respective communities, leaders inclusive,for continued peaceful coexistence and good governance .

The First Lady made the call in a democracy day message to Nigerians, particularly women and Gombe State indigenes whom she has so much regard for their sense of patience,tolerance and respect for one another, irrespective of today’s societal challenges.

“It is no longer news that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria,but it is indeed news to see the impact of dividends of democracy at the nooks and crannies of the country, as government continues to strengthen and consolidate democracy towards socioeconomic and educational growth and development. I am highly honored to be part of the success story of Gombe state, especially now that my dear husband, governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, is on the mantle of leadership. Aside the provision of social and economic infrastructure ,his gender sensitivity, has given women , the opportunity to contribute their quota to nation building,at the local(councilors) and state
(commissioners/heads of Agencies etc.) levels “.

Dr. Asma’u Yahaya added, that, having concluded the state/national primaries and now strategizing for the 2023 elections, Gombe state government, in collaboration with development partners ,will by God’s grace, continue to empower more women and youths, to become economically self reliant, with the necessary machinery on ground, for ease of doing business.

I believe that WOMEN as pillars of strength during the last general elections, will do it again come 2023 by supporting the return of governor Inuwa Yahaya for 2nd term. Gombe State First Lady, attends Madarasatul Haroon’s 35th Qur’anic Graduation Ceremony , Calls on young Graduants to exhibit values enshrine in the holy scripture,promote religious tolerance & peaceful coexistence.
.. as school honors her as role model for commitment and selfless service to humanity.

Gombe State First Lady,Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, has again been honored as a role model for her modesty, commitment and selfless service to humanity, at the 35th QUR’ANIC GRADUATION CEREMONY, of Madarasatul Haroon Litahfizil Qur’an waddirasatil Islamiyya Bolari-Gombe,which took place at the school premises.

The First Lady who said that,as an alumna , being a special guest at such an auspicious ceremony alone, is quite dignifying. She then appreciated the honor done her and urged the graduants, to allow the teaching of the holy Quran manifest in their character, especially the females ,who are known to be the vanguards of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the society.

“to our untiring and committed malams, I pray for their protection, good health, and courage to continue impacting knowledge from generation to generation for the betterment of humanity... First Lady Asma’u added “.

Guest speaker at the event ,sheikh Mubarak Manu Garba, delivered a paper on the significance of the Qur’an to the teachers and learners as well as its impact on our lives generally,where he strongly advised all Muslims to embrace the teachings of Islam according to the dictates of the Qur’an, for a better life today and in the hereafter.

The mother of the occasion, Hajiya Ruqayya Ahmed Haruna, was full of gratitude to ALLAH for sparing her life, to witness these historic event, as the only remaining widow of the school proprietor, A.A. Haruna , thereby praying and blessing the graduating students to live a life of dignity.

The chief host ,sheikh Tahir El-yasin, said, he is very proud to be part of the success story of the school’s existence ,more than half a century now, which graduated thousands of students in 35 sets, showering encomiums on the special guests at the occasion who were the passed students of the school that have distinguished themselves, particularly first lady Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya who is a pride to every muslim women.

The chairperson at the ceremony who is the clerk to the house of assembly, Barrister Ruqayyatu Adamu Jalo and one of late A.A. Haruna’s sons, Mukhtar Ahmed Haruna, separately vowed to continue supporting students and the school in their bid to promoting the course of Islam, as they congratulated the graduants for achieving a life changing feat.

Other highlights of the program include,recitation of the holy Qur’an, quiz competition, paper presentation on Islam and science ,
drama on the importance of education by the graduating students, gifts/certificates presentations to graduants as well as award to distinguished personalities.

34 students graduated (27 female and 6 male).

“Hakika, kamar yadda shugabar mata na jam’iyar APC na jiha, Hajiya Lumbi Abubakar, da mataimakiyar ta s**a fadi, gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya ya zamo ZAKARAR GWAJIN DAFI, ta wajen ba mata muhimman mukamai a gwamnatin sa , don ba su damar damawa da su ,wajen inganta rayuwar su. Hakan ma somin tabi ne....Dr. Asma’u Yahaya”.

Daga karshe, Hajiya Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, ta bukaci mata, da su kara hakuri da yanayin rayuwar yau k*ma su zage da addu’a , musamman a wannan wata mai albarka na RAMADANA, da rokon ALLAH YA Kara bamu kariya daga fitintinun duniya don mu Kara samun zaman lafiya da cigaba a jihar Gombe.

Jawabai da s**a gudana a wajen taron na musamman daga bakin shugaban mata na jam’iyar APC na jiha da mataimakiyar ta , Hajiya Lumbi Abubakar da Hajiya Fati Kulani, tare da babbar daraktan hulda da jama’a na gidan gwamnati( DG Protocol ), Barrister Sa’adatu Sa’adu Mustapha, sun nuna cewa ,matan Gombe har yanzu a kan bakarsu suke, ko yau ko yanzu-yanzu, da yardar ubangiji, Kuri’un su na DAN MAJEN GOMBE NE, gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

Bayan godiya na musamman wa uwar marayu ,Hajiya Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, bisa irin tallafi da take yi wa mata da marasa galihu jiddan bila adadan ,Shugabannin matan su kara jan kunnen mata da su sabunta Katunan zaben su k*ma su kau da kai daga Karba wasu kananan abubuwan duniya a wajen yan adawa don son zuciya,wanda hakan ya saba wa alkawarin dake tsakanin su na INUWA 4+4 da yardar ubangiji.

Har ila yau an raba abinci da abin sha wa jama’an da s**a halarci wajen taron k*ma an dauki hotunan tarihi .Daga bisani mata sun tafi gidajen su cikin farin ciki da annashua, tamkar ranar Sallah.

2000 physically challenged, women and less privileged benefit from Gombe State First Lady’s empowerment program.

Again, Gombe State first lady, Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, has distributed empowerment tools to two thousand (2000) women,physically challenged and less privileged in the state to support them fend for themselves during these economic hardship bedeviling the society today.

Flagging -off the distribution of the empowerment tools at the women center in the ministry of women affairs Gombe, the governor’s wife,reiterated the government’s commitment towards ensuring even and equitable distribution of dividends of democracy to the people, emphasizing that the first lady’s office will continue to assist women with what it takes to improve their livelihood by developing their potentials to become financially self reliant.

The state commissioner of women affairs , Mrs Naomi J. J.Awak, commended the First Lady , Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya for passion in helping the poor and vulnerable by not only putting food on their table, but by providing them with requisite skills and knowledge on how to make ends meet.

The commissioner then assured the governor’s wife of the full support of Gombe women who are solemnly behind the government of Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for carrying them along in all strata of government, thereby giving them a sense of belonging.

In the same vain, the state APC women leader, Hajiya Lumbi Abubakar and some beneficiaries of the first lady’s gesture appreciated the continued assistance of the First Lady with the assurance to remain strongly United and shown all rumors and political propaganda , so that together, they stand for Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s government in years to come.

Highlights of the occasion was the flagging-off and distribution of the empowerment tools by Dr. Asma’u Inuwa which include tricycles, grinding and sawing machines.

1st Ramadan,1443AH.

Ramadan Season: Gombe State Governor’s wife urges the wealthy to feed the needy ,for abundant blessings, countless rewards attached.

The wife of Gombe State governor, Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya has congratulated the Muslim ummah, for witnessing another Ramadan season that ushers a lot of good things that unite and bring us closer to our creator.

In her message of best wishes to the entire Muslim faithful in the state especially her fellow women, the governor’s wife reminded them that,the sacred month of Ramadan goes beyond fasting ,cooking and eating one’s favorite dishes, to spiritual rejuvenation which through our religious devotions and selfless service to humanity, earned us ALLAH’s bountiful blessings.

Dr. Asma’u Inuwa said, we should show kindness to the people around us , feed the needy and orphans so that we may stand side by side with prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon Him).

The First Lady therefore, stressed that women should use their positions as daughters ,wives and mothers who bear the brunt of insecurity ,gender violence and economic meltdown, to seriously pray in this holy month ,for almighty’s forgiveness and devine intervention so that peace,unity and justice shall reign in our dear nation.

1 ga watan Afrelu, 2022.

Uwargidan gwamnan jihar Gombe, Dr. Asma’u Yahaya, ta raba kayan abincin azumi wa kungiyoyin addinai, nakasassu ,gidaje da daidaikun jama’a maza da mata don kawo dokin fama da tsadan rayuwa ga marasa galihu.

A Safiyar yau ne, Uwargidan gwamnan jihar Gombe, Dr. Asma’u Inuwa Yahaya, ta raba kayan masarufi wa Kungiyoyin addinai,nakasassu, gidaje dama daidaikun jama’a maza da
mata, yayin da aka fuskanci azumin watan Ramadan, domin rage musu radadin zafin tsadar rayuwar yau.

Uwargidan gwamnan, ta samu wakilcin shugaban kwamitin amintattu na gidauniyar ta na Jewel Care ,wacce aka raba abincin a karkashin ta , Alhaji Hamisu Saulawa, k*ma shugaban mata na jam’iyar APC na jiha ,Mama Lumbi Abubakar,da mataimakan ta na shiya s**a mara masa baya.

Da yake jawabi kafin kaddamar da raba kayayyakin abincin a farfajiyar APC SQUARE, Alhaji Hamisu ya bayyana Cewar, wannan rabiyar abincin ba yau ne Mai dakin gwamnan ta fara yi ba, don kadan daga cikin ayyukan gidauniyar ta kenan na bada tallafin kayan more rayuwa, da s**a hada da kiwon lafiya , samar da ruwan sha , gina ajujuwa karatu a mazabar, gundumomi da karkara.

Saulawan ya Kara da cewa, a wannan makon ne gidauniyar Uwargidan gwamnan tare hadin guiwan gidauniyar kasar Qatar, ta gudanarda aikin cutar yanar gizon idanu, bada magunguna da gilashi kyauta wa mutane sama da dubu uku(over 3000). Ta kara yin hadaka da gidauniyar AMEN kan horas da unguwan zoma a dukkan kananan huk*momi goma sha daya na jihar ,kan gwajin gano cutar Shankarar nono da Muhaifa a matakinta na farko, don dakile cutar ta sankara.

“A jiya-jiyan nan ne ta aika da kayan abinci, dinkakkun tufafi da takalma gidan marayu dake Tunfure , don taimaka musu a matsayin ta na uwa mabada mama. Yau k*ma gashi ta gayyato mata da maza masu karamin karfi ,daga lungu da sakon jihar Gombe, don tallafa musu da kayayyakin abinci yayin da aka fuskanci azumin watan ramadana....Saulawa”.

Shugaban kwamitin amintattu, ya Kara da cewa, uwargidan gwamnan , ta jinjina wa mata wajen hakuri da juriyar tsananin rayuwa da ake fuskanta a yau, inda ta ce da yardan ubangiji za ta cigaba da tallafa wa mata , matasa da kananan yara don samun ingantaccen rayuwa da zaman lafiya mai dorewa a jihar Gombe.

Ita kuwa shugaban mata na jam’iyar APC na jiha, mama Lumbi Abubakar, ta kirayi mata da babban murya don kara nuna goyon bayan su ga Uwar marayu,Dr. Asma’u Inuwa da. Maigidanta, gwamna Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, tare da yi musu addu’an ALLAH YA kare su daga sharrin masharranta , k*ma ya basu ladan ayyukan da suke yi wa al’umma, da sakamakon alkhairi.

Hamisu Saulawa ya Kaddamar da raba kayan abincin da fara bayar wa kungiyar FOMWAN , CAN , da ta nakasassu, kana daga bisani aka rarraba sauran kayan abincin .
